Amazing product!
This was fairly easy to put together and it has been a great solution to our back porch with no cover during rainy days. It's very sturdy, great quality and I'd give it a 10 stars if I could.

Very Cool
Pretty easy to set up with the instructions. I was able to get this up by myself with a bit of strategy. Importantly, I was able to get this up on a small balcony about 3' x 6' , 4th floor. Had to put main parts together inside, then put together the 3 main peices on the balcony and secure it. It is possible. It seems very sturdy by the roof and floor. There is some wobble in the center due to the telescoping nature of the rods. Waiting to see if it's really water proof. Will update.Update: survived many wind and rain storms. it is waterproof. no issues so far

Medium Difficulty to assemble
If you have put together a grill or other item with moderate assembly parts then this will be straight forward for you. The instructions are picture based and the items are clearly marked, so it is straight forward. One caution is you will need a long table to assemble the canopy. This is a two person job. The canopy is designed for a level soffit, so angled blocks will be needed if you have an angled soffit. I just cut two blocks at 12 degrees and it worked great. Setting up is the difficult part. Three people would be even better for this part. The canopy is nice and I think it will last a while. The wife is happy and that is all that matters.

This Canopy is amazing for the price!
Let me just start by saying that my item took like a month to arrive but for me this was the only opportunity to solve my issue. I live in a 3rd floor apartment and whenever it would rain my balcony basically got flooded since there wasnt any clearing from the roof. The solution? Get this thing! Havent rain tedted it yet but for the price it sure looks sturdy and well made!Update (12/8/24)Its rained plenty and the canopy holds! Even with tough winds. Havent gone though a tropical storm but it should hold just fine if un retracted too much. The tarp/canopy is super cool!

Perfect for apartment balcony’s!
Bought this for my apartment balcony which gets too much sun. I was skeptical buying this but we love it! It’s a little tricky to put together. Make sure you have plenty of room. Putting it together inside a small apartment was interesting. Thanks to someone else’s review showing wooden wedges used in the eave of the house. I did the same thing. Fits perfect! Cut a 2x4 tip to create a wedge for your eave. The awning tension rods need a flat surface to push against. We love this thing. HOWEVER!!! Update: Do not use it for rain. The rain will pool in the awning and get very heavy. I’ve tried it all different angles and it still collected rain. So just use it for sun shade and you’ll be fine. Put it down when it rains. You’ll be glad you bought this. 10/10

Great Value in price and use
I didn’t have high expectations and. This exceeded them. The frame seems solid and went together easily. The shade fabric is a bit on the thin side but for the price, I’m happy. I can also easily remove the shade from the frame and sew myself a new one really easily using the existing one as a template.Fully extended, I have to duck under it because where I installed it from deck to roof overhang is just over 8’ high so it is low. In my arrangement over some outdoor furniture, I don’t need to fully extend it to block the sun so I’m good with that. If you had a 10’ height to install it, you could walk under it for sure.I installed it myself although a little awkward to get it raised up, it isn’t heavy.

Not Bad 👍
Not bad but fabric is kinda thin should be double the thickness but i guess that's why it's cheap. Pictures are with the awning fully extended. If u have eves like mine which are sloped u need to cut a 2x4 across and then attach the angle on top of that. U need a wedge because the top foot doesn't pivot at all. (See photo) See the white line going across where the wedge is, that is my fashia lifting up from Torqueing down the support bars. So I need to redo that adding first a 2x4 across nailed to the joist. I also added several more screws on the ends, post wobbles, and if you're in a very windy area I would recommend closing it. That being said, I would recommend this awning with modifications mentioned. Will see in a year if it's still working.
