McCormick’s Pickling Spice
It was just what I needed and couldnt find at my grocery store for my corned beef. It did come with a small packet of pickling spice, but I like to use more… Nice big “jar” of it…. 12 ounces.

Good flavor
Good flavor for corned beef. Huge size. I’ll be pickling everything! Easy to shake out or measure the amount needed.

Has chilis
Wasn't paying close attention and didn't see anyone mention it when reading reviews, so was surprised when my corned beef came out spicy. Not overly hot but definitely enough to make your mouth tingly and slightly numb, which for me is too much to be able to taste the other flavors very well. It's not a bad flavor but wasn't quite what I was going for, good to know for future usage though. Will be using what I made for hash instead of eating on its own. Again hard to tell 100% because of the chilis but I think the mix of spices beyond that produces the flavor I'm looking for so will just pick some of the chilis out next time.

Pickeling spice
Pickeling spice is expensive so this is a good deal.

Pickilng spice
This is very very good !! Used this for the first time with a farm raised 8lbs corbed beef brisket. It was great. Such a good flavor that does transfer to the brisket during the boil. And your house will smell to the heavens. I went a little heavy with the spice with such a big brisket. Man it was amazing.10 out of 10.

Very low price!
Very low price! Many uses for this spice, I use 1/2 of a tea ball in an 8 quart pot with 6 quarts of water in it.Bring this to a rolling boil.Add 1 pound of frozen de-veined shrimp.Wait till the shrimp start to float.Remove from heat and rinse with cold water till you can hold the shrimp in your hand.If the shrimp has shell on twist the shrimp to remove the shell.Place in a bowl with 2 paper towels on the bottom.Place in the refrigerator for about 2 hours and you have great tasting shrimp cocktailFor he sauce it is easy peasy. Ketchup and horseradish, Get horseradish that is not mixed with a lot of oils, the less ingredients in this the better.Add ketchup to a bowl, about 1 cup and add the horseradish till the taste is as you like it.Refrigerate and enjoy!
