Hi Please accept my apologies for the delay in response. The Montmorillonite Clay (Commonly known as French Green Clay) is sourced from the mines near Gulf of Cambay, Gujarat, India. The name is French Green Clay or Montmorillonite Clay because it was first mined in the Montmorillonite region of France. However, the same clay with the same mineral constituents is found in many parts of the world. We procure it from Guld of Cambay (Gulf of Khambhat) in Gujarat, India. I trust this information helps. No. French Green Clay will not have any effect on aches. For this purpose, you need Sodium Bentonite Clay.

Q: Does this have an expiry date?

Yes. The batch Number, Manufacturing Date and Expiration Date is printed on every bag. The fresh inventory is replenished as and when it gets low. Hence, we have multiple number of batches existing at the amazon warehouses. However, the nearest expiration date would not be earlier than October 2022 as of today, 2nd February 2021.
