The stock pot (11 litre) came in a well packaged thick cardboard box for protection. The pot looked and felt high quality out of the box, it is very sturdy! The polished finish is excellent, The bottom of the pot is very thick, unlike some others that are quite thin. I used this pot to make a stew, the stew remained hot for a long time after turning the cooker off. Food did not get burned at the bottom of the pot because of the thick bottom - with a thinner bottom pot, this happened often with me. The glass lid is very good and is very strong and well made. The pot came with a ladle and this is also well made! Guaranteed for 6 years as well - I think that it will last for a lot longer than that, as the construction, look and feel of the pot is outstanding. I am glad I bought this, I would recommend this and I am going to buy another one of a slightly smaller size.Cleaning the pot is so easy, no need to scrub the pot hard, I just used a light sponge and then only the smooth side, absolutely fantastic! Finally, I am not exaggerating when I say that this is an item of the very highest quality.

I had been using a normal large saucepan to make soups but wanted to make larger batches so I could freeze them.This pot is the perfect size for making stock, soup and stews. I recently used it to make 12 large portions of chicken and vegetable soup. Very impressed with the quality of the pot.

I bought the 23l pot and am delighted with the quality, size and customer service from Homichef. Not only is it a beautiful piece of engineering it came with 2 complimentary utensils also shiny robust. I have read the sealing instructions carefully and will attempt that this evening. I was even more impressed by a follow up reminder from my local customer service rep emphasising the instructions and providing an online pdf manual. Price wise it seems a very good deal. I bought the pot for steaming/sterilising jars but my son already has his eye on it for cooking for is friends.

I followed the instructions in the box to season as suggested.I’ve used this pot for a number of things in a Commercial cooking application. From chilli to stuffing mix and an over Christmas boiling the tin of potatoes we did for 13 for dinner.It’s a good huge cooking pot. Seemingly expensive from the outset but actually well built and very robust. About 2x price of one in Asda I noted but this is bigger and I think will last longer.

I love everything about this pot, I don't regret buying, really worth the money!I am happy to use it in cooking my Jollof rice on a low heat and it turned out beautifully well.Thank you Homichef for this pot, I am saving already to buy other sizes I need.

Pan is great size. Not used yet but has split in Ladle

Perfect for doing batch cooking of chilli con carne and spag bol. etc. Exactly what I wanted and very easy to clean.
