This TV antenna is thin and flat so it doesn’t take up a lot of space, unlike ‘rabbit ear’ type antennas. It works best against a window but can pick up some channels when placed on a shelf. The long cord is great for reaching to the window. It works the same way other antennas work. First I position the antenna and then I run the channel scan on the TV. I tried it on several different TVs and was able to pick up 3 local networks including some sub channels for a total of 9 channels. You may be able to pick up more channels if you live closer to a broadcast tower. This product is worth a try if you don’t want to pay for cable.

Works better than i expected, i get all 45 over the air channels in Glendale, AZ. Well worth the money if you are going to cut the cord.

It works great! I get 12 channels on my tv with this and a very clear picture.

I am located pretty much equal distance from Boston, Providence, and Hartford. I thought this antenna would pull in a decent number of channels but it found only one channel that didn't actually come in. This may work for some but I am probably going to look for an antenna I can put in my attic next.

Be aware that despite the photo, this antenna does NOT plug into the wall. I was specifically looking for one that plugged into the wall and bought this only to find the photo was not what I ordered.

I live in Petaluma California. The closest tower is 16 miles away. I mounted the antenna on a window. I only got a broken signal. I have a different antenna that works well. I am returning this antenna.
