HOTT 8GB Touchscreen Digital Music and Video Player with Speaker and FM Radio - A30 Pink

I have 2 Sansa MP3 players, the Rhapsody 280 I've had for nearly 10 years, and more recently a Clip. I got the "Hott" player because I listen to FM a great deal, and both the Sandisks' FM tuners "drift" (lose the tuned station gradually). The Clip is worse than the 280.The Hott tuner does not drift, but although it has a tuner sensitivity selection it does not have quite the reception that the Sansas do, but is still okayThe touch screen of the Hott is resistive rather than capacitive (like a phone or tablet usually is) and can be difficult to select items in menus. It is also quite difficult to scroll through items - either the scroll won't progress smoothly, or you end up selecting an item you didn't want to select.There is an instruction sheet, written in Spanish only. It's been a long time since Junior High Spanish class, and the vocabulary at that time had nothing to do with digital music players, so hopefully you are fluent in Espanol, know someone who is, or you're stuck like me with trial-and-error.The earbuds are horrid, miserable things that make the average Dollar Store earbuds seem like Bose. They are larger than human ears can accomodate, which doesn't matter because they hardly emit any sound anyway. I use a $10 set of Ecko earbuds which make this player (and just about any other player) sound great. There are selectable EQ modes which I found useful. On the whole, with decent earbuds, the sound quality is clear and better than good. The directory system works very well, allowing choice by artist or genre in addition to item entries and playlists. Windows 10 Media Player synchs to the player with no problems.I have experimented a bit with the photo viewer, and found it to be very pixilated and "lossy" - generally, it's not worth the effort of loading the pictures on it. The video player works, but the quality again is not very good. The voice recorder worked well, with good sound quality. I have no clue how the EBook reader would work, so I can't comment on it's usefulness.The warranty is in English, but as there is a $20 handling charge to send in the player for warranty repair, there is effectively no warranty. Thankfully, my player seems to work fine. I get about 5 hours playing time from a full charge, which I wish was longer.All in all, it has good FM reception and good sound quality (if you use some good earbuds) while playing MP3 files, which is what I wanted.UPDATE: Just before my return period ended, it refused to charge. A portable device that doesn't charge is useless, so it was returned, and I promptly received a refund for the player and the initial shipping charge.

Garbage -sound does not work. I do not recommend this one. If it worked, it may have been good.

Well seems like it will work for what I was intending for it to do. I bought as a gift so have to wait and see.

I got it as a gift. He loved it thanks! & it came 4 days sooner than expected !

I love it's ability to record and store content. Battery is okay.
