Love this kettle, looks and feels good.However, I have removed a star as the water level is hard to see with the smoked glass window.For the price of the item maybe they should think about adding an LED light.But all in all would recommend this item.

I had cause to contact the seller with this product. After third use it went dead. It wasn’t a simple fuse problem. However, the customer service is exemplary and after sending a video clip of ‘dead’ product I have been able have another one sent to me. I found this outstanding service and much thanks to all. Initially, I copied a reviewer and put a 30min cycle twice with just water in it to remove an odour. I then cooked a chicken and it was wonderful. The product is well made and the first for me to have a clamp closure which I think will be good. I’m looking forward to a new one arriving quickly tomorrow. Again.....many thanks to the seller

This kettle is awesome! It is so fast at boiling one cup! The different temp options are good as I drink a lot of tea and warm water & don’t necessarily need the water boiling. Plus it looks cool.

Kettle start leaking three weeks after purchase. I returned the item.very disappointing

Worked OK for a few months, but then the problems started. It started with a very small amount of water appearing beneath the kettle. Beleiving this was caused by condensation, or maybe a drop of water had trickled down the kettle after filling it, I really didn't pay much attention. This all started after about 1 month of light usage.Soon after the small amount of water increased. Once again I didn't pay any attention, I just thought "I must be doing something wrong".BUT a few weeks later I was very surprised. The kettle had decided to leak during the night, releasing around half a cup of water all over the control panel and counter top. It was then that I noticed where the leak was. It was located on the edge of the filler guide glass. The seal was broken right at the bottom where it joined the metal kettle shell.Now I know that the instrument pannel should be sealed around the buttons to prevent water ingress into the electrical components beneath, but knowing how badly sealed the kettle was I find myself not trusting this manufacturer. The last thing I need is for the main fuse into the house going "POP" because of a badly made kettle.Needless to say, but this pile of junk is now where it belongs. IN THE BIN. I wish I had never purchased it, I could have had a great kettle for just £5 more.As my title says "Caviat Emptor" - Buyer Beware!

This was the perfect kettle for me, as I only drink herbal tea and I don't like to drink tea scorching hot. In the past have had to resort to throwing in an ice cube. It looks good, shape and design wise with the blue lights that light up when functioning. I was very happy with it. However, this is my 2nd kettle from them as the first one I purchased back in November, decided to spring a weak on the perspex fascia, which meant I could barely heat up water enough for 1 cup. After contacting Bestek customer service, within one week, I had a new kettle. V impressed by this, having had issues with anther v expensive branded kettle company and it was one reason why I decided to purchase a competitively priced kettle like this, from Bestek. I didn't want the whole rigmarole of having to deal with a company that wouldn't honour any fault, should it occur and then leave me without a kettle.

Would give 0 if I could. Starting leaking at the bottom after 30 mins.... very poor quality

The kettle is a fab kettle. Does the job well. Ours was leaking at first but the customer service we received was excellent and a replacement was sent out straight away and had no problems with this one. I would definitely recommend.
