I have a nice plate-carrier vest with metal plates of same total weight, but it hurts the traps, squeezes the chest, and feels like it weighs twice as much as 20lbs. It is miserable. But this vest slings comfortably around the shoulders, distributes the weight nicely, doesn't hurt the traps, and feels lighter (somehow) than you would expect for wearing 20 lbs. If you are getting into rucking, this is what you are looking for.

The reflective stripes are nice to have on the vest. It's not overly bulky, and i use the removable storage pouch more than I thought i would. It definitely intensifies my walks.

first time with a weighted vest (per doctor's orders for bone strengthening). she recommended 15 pounds for me. this one came with either 12 or 16 so went with 16. wore it for 10 mins 3 times on first day and on second day for 30 mins incl a trip up/down stairs plus a sit to stand rep. good enough I think I can now wear on my walks. I am 5'3", 142 lbs and 77 years old. if I can do this, anyone can, LOLvery well made, comfortable, adjustable straps. I do have to be careful getting into it so I don't strain my rotator cuff, ya can't just 'sling it on' like a coat as its heavy. once on and tightened, just fine. I dont' go out at night, but the reflectors are nice for safety.even tho new to this, I am impressed and happy with my purchase. my doctor will be thrilled...... update: LOVE this vest!! two friends impressed and are also buying. seeing improvements in body strength and posture. for those who say the zipper type is easier: you cinch the vest snuggly when on. release the straps when done or the two front pieces will be too close together to easily put on next time. can't recommend this higher!

Some basic information: I am 5'4", 135 lbs, 34B. I ordered this weighted vest to help with a bone density issue I have due to gastro issues.I first ordered the 10 lb. vest which overall was very small and rode up my back like an ill-fitting bra. It also proved to be too light and almost unnoticeable. weight-wise.I exchanged it for a 12 lb vest which, undetected by be, they actually sent a 15 lb vest. This was way too large and sliding off my shoulders or slipping down my back. I finally realized it was very heavy and weighed it revealing it was actually 15 lbs!I sent this back and thought I'd give the 12 lb vest one more try. This time they sent a 12 lb vest. It is perfect. It fits like a glove when the strap is pulled its tightest. It does not shift around, and the weight is noticeable but not too challenging.My advice - take into consideration your body size knowing that the heavier the vest the larger the vest will be. I’ve been using this weighted vest on my walks and absolutely love the added benefits. I thought it was a great price, easy to put on and so comfortable. I feel as though it has improved my posture and it is very easy to move in. Has reflectors for night and a handy zip up pockets that is big enough to store my phone, keys, money. If you are looking for a weighted vest then this is the one for you! You will be happy with the purchase.

I bought just to get a little extra exercise while pushing my kids stroller on walks. It is extremely comfortable to wear and even has some give/stretch to it if you’re a bigger individual. I love it and have recommended it to multiple people so far! I think it’s worth the price!

Weight is evenly distributed. It feels heavy when picking it up but once it's on it does not pull you forwards or backwards. You can feel it when walking but no sore back or anything.

Purchased the 20lb vest to use for walks, hikes and short runs. Wears well, quality seems good. One size fits all. I'm small/ med top and so something to consider for size reference. Unable to tighten as much as I would like. Running with the vest there is some bounce, but perfect for walks,hikes.

I like its size it fits well. I don’t like that I control the weight graduation. I would prefer a vest that I am able to add weight increments as I adjust to load.

Gran elección de chaleco si quieres iniciar a correr con peso, estéticamente se ve lindo, trae un espacio para el teléfono y en la parte de atrás una “red” para llaves y el relleno del peso es como de “arena” entonces no hace tanto ruido al correr. El único contra es que si corres con una blusa de tela delgada lastima la zona del hombro (por la fricción) pero se soluciona corriendo con sudadera.

Habe sie mir damals zu Corona Zeiten gekauft und muss sagen bis heute ist sie wie neu….!!!Nix kaputt…!!!Ich liebe sie zum Training oder als Zusatz für den Alltag…!Super 👍🏼 Invention !
