Got a litter robot 4 but it still needs some attention and scraping at times. This is perfect! The rounded edges work well in my fancy cat litter robot.

I have had many, many kitties over the last thirty years and this "Clean Go Pet 14-Inch Stainless Steel Litter Cat Scoop" is the very best scooper I've ever found! I purchased my first one several years ago at a big-box pet supply store and fell in love with it. That old scoop has held up wonderfully - it's still in perfect shape after years of daily use cleaning four litter boxes! Since I have littler boxes in two different locations in my house and used to carry my metal scooper and Litter Genie (also a GREAT product) around the house from box to box. Hence, I purchased a second one of these scoopers(and a second Litter Genie too.) This second scooper is the EXACT SAME design as the first one I bought years ago, and it's perfect! It greatly reduces strain on my small hands and weak arms so I can get plenty of leverage to scoop tough clumps from the bottom of the box. With a slight tilt of my wrist, the flat surface of the scoop lets the clean litter fall right off the side and back into the box, leaving the dirty clumps in the center of the scoop. It's small enough that it fits easily into any scoop holder. The only negative thing I can think of is that its rounded edges make it difficult to get deep into the corners of the litter box. In an ideal world, I'd like to see this exact scoop design made with some sort of corner edge. However, this really isn't a big problem. The rounded design still does a much better job than ANY other scooper I've ever tried - - and I've tried A LOT of scoopers in my time! I give this product an A+++.Also, I HAVE TO RECOMMEND Dr. Elsey's Precious Cat Unscented Clumping Litter. It's the VERY BEST - and I've tried them all!!! It truly has NO DUST (amazing) and the UNSCENTED type is kind to your cats' noses . . . plus it absorbs odor REALLY WELL! This litter clumps super hard so it's easy to get all the clumps out, leaving nothing but clean litter behind. In fact, it clumps so well that I don't use litterbox liners at all. My experience with liners is they always get ripped up, litter gets under the liner, and it makes the whole thing a huge hassle.  Precious Cat Ultra Premium Clumping Cat Litter, 40 pound bag Just scoop out the clumps and top off with fresh litter as needed. This litter is rather heavy and clumps so well that flimsy plastic scoopers just don't stand up to this litter. Thus, the CLEAN GO METAL SCOOPER is the purrfect choice for this purrfect litter! :)

This product is sturdy and has held up a lot better than my previous plastic litter scooper. The pee clumps in the litter like to stick to the wall, and this tool is very good at unsticking them.The fact that it doesn't have walls so much on its edges makes it easier for poop to accidentally roll off it and back into the litter, but it's easy enough to keep it level so it doesn't happen often.One thing to note is that it has a round shape, whereas most litter pans are rectangles. This means that the scooper will almost never line up flush with the litter pan wall. This makes it difficult to scoop tiny turds that like to evade scooping. The roundness of it also makes it slightly harder to level the litter after cleaning. I usually like to spread the litter around to make it level, and it's really hard to make flat surfaces with a round tool.If you don't mind it being round, then this tool is a great and sturdy option

I've had various cats for decades, and so far this is my favorite scoop. This scoop won't hold three or four cups of "poo". It's great at getting all the small pieces other scoops seem to leave behind. And it easily holds the smallish "poos" my cats leave behind. If you are cleaning the litter box every day (as you should) this scoop is more than capable of taking care of business. This scoop is easy to handle and doesn't spill litter while transferring to a waste bag.***It is well made and not flimsy at all. When I saw the flimsy comments, I looked at my scoop, and I have to say, I'm just not seeing it. It doesn't bend at all when scooping through the cat litter (I use the blue crystals). The cat litter easily falls through leaving just the "business" on the scoop. The one I received (bought here from amazon) is sturdy and well made. And the handle is comfortable in the hand while scooping out the litter box.***I also bought a white toilet tissue canister from amazon, and this scoop fits perfectly inside, so it's handy right by the litter box, but out of sight. Also I don't have to worry about anyone or anything playing with the scoop. It helps keep everything neat and clean.

I found this style a while back and really like it's design. Got more cats since back then and got more litter boxes for the house. Needed more scoops for those boxes so I ordered this (don't remember where I got my originals) Mine bent within a month. I also noticed the one I got is slightly different than the one pictured. There are less slots in the spoon. I figured, eh, whatever, less slots doesn't make that much of a difference. Then it bent. Now it bends all the time. It's not the same as my old school scoops. I'm looking for them elsewhere now.. Crappy.

Much better than plastic scoops. Don't waste your time with anything but metal - it gets the job done so much better. Works great for my two little munchkin cats. Might possibly be a bit small for larger jobs from larger kitties such as Maine Coons and such, but for normal day to day scooping it does the job well. Great for all kinds of small grain littler. And easy to clean.

I'm sure this was originally mad for the kitchen and not the litter box. Though very well made, you are wasting your money unless you use it to remove poached eggs, or as a skimmer.It fails horribly as a litter scoop. First off its too flat, its also not wide enough or deep enough. Poopies just roll off the scoop before you can get them out of the box. If you use clumping litter, you will find the most pee clumps can only be removed if you learn to balance the ball on the scoop.Last but not least, this device is not a scoop. By definition a scoop is "a utensil resembling a spoon, with a long handle and a deep bowl, used for removing....". This does not have any spoon or bowl shape what's so ever. It is flat, too narrow for balancing clumped pee balls and to small to scoop poopies.Unfortunately, its a big waste of money and resources.

I bought this litter cat scoop because it was stainless steel. The price was right, handle a good length, but the scoop part is notscooped out enough. The scoop end is rather flat, so when you are scooping, one can only collect a little at a time.Otherwise, I am happy with the product.

Sturdy. Good product. Would help if it would be more square, to reach the corners!

exactly as described item arrived very well packed and as described, very useful in my four cat household but not really robust for that quantity, would be great for a single cat
