comes unassembled
it's perfectly fine once you construct it but you shouldn't have to construct it because the box unconstructed isn't all that much smaller than the item itself is when put together, just put it together and then ship it like I wasn't expecting it to come in pieces because it's just a lil paper holder thing but you have to assemble it yourself I mean I did assemble it eventually and then it's perfectly good but like you shouldn't have to assemble it. this should come pre-assembled it's not so big that they should save an extra dollar on shipping or whatever I don't know I just didn't expect it to be in pieces because it's just a paper holder. it's pretty nice looking paper holder once it's put together though so if you don't mind assembling it it's pretty good oh yeah the instructions were bad but it's not that hard to figure out anyway, whatever

You can make a simple custom-cover for a more tidy look!
I've bought three of these now, because I love them so much! We do lots of paper-crafting, and I needed lots more space for my papers and supplies.I have a tiny condo, and need to leave these out on my dining room table most of the time, for lack of space. The only thing I didn't like was the always-slightly-messy look. I easily solved this problem with some custom-made burlap covers! I attached them with velcro on the back (see photos); since they're just rectangles, they were easy to make (if you have a sewing machine and some sewing experience). I used my embroidery machine to make the labels.These have made our crafting much more fun, keeping so many supplies so nicely organized and nearby. When in use, I just pull back the burlap covers, exposing all the contents. Highly recommend these!

Not bad, not great
I bought this item because it was tall enough to hide the outlet that goes behind all the electronic I wanted to put in it. The outerbox is decent quality but the back and shelves are cheap. I kept the item because it's functionality works for me.
