Holds a lot, fits under seat or expands to overhead bin
Excellent design and layout, padded for laptop while still slim. Middle compartment has many pockets. Side straps let one compress the contents after packing to emmake the bag as compact as possible. Nice material and build quality. Exceeds expectations for the price.

The most practical carry on luggage we've ever owned!
This carry on luggage/ backpack, is incredible! We took a family vacation to Mexico and this carry on did not disappoint! As we were packing, we ran out of space so we re-organized everything. Then we got this carry-on luggage which was perfect! It's soooo spacious! It offers a soft case (yet very sturdy), functional zippers and ample space inside. We used this carryon to pack our extra set of clothes, along with other necessities in case our main luggage got lost or delayed. This carryon went through TSA and on the Airplane with no problems. My husbands stashed this in the overhead and it was a breeze to carry since it's also a backpack! The material on this carryon luggage is top notch! It's very good quality, excellent design, and very functional. We are very happy with this carry on backpack! Highly recommend for your upcoming trip!

It is EXTRA Large!
The image accurately represents the product. The hardware is quality made and seem to be durable. The color is a dull black. The straps are padded, not the minimum padding . . . the kind of padding that gives your shoulders a break when the line is backed up at the airport . . . the norm! The standout feature is the size of this backpack. It expands and takes the size to another level! This backpack easily accommodated seven days of outfits. Mine you, I did use packing cubes, but still! I did not have a problem storing in the overhead. I'm not sure it would fit under the seat packed to capacity (and mine was definitely packed to capacity)! It is definitely one of the better backpacks I own.I highly recommend this product.

Can carry a lot, good alternative to rollaboard for short to medium trips.
I try to pack light, but can't leave home without my laptop for work reasons, so a laptop compatible backpack is a necessity and I've tried a few models over the years. Let's break down the pros and cons of this one:PROS:Solid 9/10 for quality. It is solidly built with quality material and workmanship. The stitching is great, the hardware like zippers and clips are solid, and the handles are well stitched in place and padded for comfort. I can't find any faults with the workmanship, only things that I personally think could be improvements, like replacing the plastic zippers with metal. Overall I can see this being durable. This bag can hold a LOT. It has a small zippered section in the very front for smaller items like a tablet, small toiletries, etc., followed by a main section in the center front good for clothing, and then a section in the back designed for a laptop. Used just like this, I can easily fit 2-3 days worth of clothing and basic toiletries, my laptop, some additional paperwork, a kindle, and some other small basics. However this backpack will expand out further if you unzip the middle, giving you basically an extra compartment as big as the first clothing section. Enough for another 2-3 days worth of clothing. I am pretty sure if I packed right I could easily make this work for a week long trip with no laundry needed.Interestingly, it does have a small 'waterproof' (I haven't tested that) side in the center as well. I'll add this to the pro side, though I am not sure I would ever use it to store something like a wet bathing suit-that seems to be inviting mold growth, but hey, it could be someone else's problem solver. It's certainly not a negative, right? The expandable compartment opposite this has a breathable mesh panel which would be good for storing shoes so that is another pro.It can easily fit my 18" laptop with plenty of room to spare, I think a 20" could fit in here...that is hard to come by.CONS:Dimensions are listed at 22x14x9. I expanded this out and packed just the clothing compartments and my laptop, and came up with 20" tall, 14" wide (side to side), and easily 15" wide front to back. And that was not even filling it...I didn't overstuff the compartments, and there wasn't even anything in the front pocket or the laptop area except my laptop. There was definitely unused space, and it already exceeded approved carryon size for US airlines, let alone non US carriers. Now I didn't try to compress it yet by buckling the side clips and tightening the straps, but I think it would be hard to reduce it down 6" overall to meet carryon standards. So while the expansion possibility is great, if you stuff it, it also probably negates the ability to use it as a carryon, which is the point of having a laptop carryon bag.If you're using it for road trips, camping, etc., then not as much of a concern. Or if you want something that you can expand out to carry your coat or bulkier items once you reach your destination, this would also be perfect. Otherwise, you can certainly use it without expanding it and meet the carryon size rules. My only other con, and this is minimal and personal, is that there are no external pockets for holding bottles/beverages. I'm used to pretty much any backpack having a place to store my water bottle, and because of the design, there isn't a place to put one here. Is it a dealbreaker? Probably not. But noteworthy if you are comparing models and it is for you.

A heavyweight in the backpack arena
The HOMIEE Carry On Luggage Backpack is a true heavyweight, offering a massive 50L capacity in an expandable design. While advertised as a carry-on, it's important to double-check airline size restrictions due to its generous dimensions (22x14x9).This backpack is built to last. The durable materials and thick padding inspire confidence for heavy travel. The upside of the padding is excellent back support, but the downside is some added weight. Fortunately, the backpack features multiple straps for compression and load distribution, including helpful chest and waist straps. One minor drawback is the lack of dedicated side water bottle pockets. This might be a dealbreaker for some travelers who rely on easy access to hydration.Overall, the HOMIEE Carry On Luggage Backpack prioritizes spaciousness and durability. It's ideal for extended trips where maximizing packing space is crucial. However, keep the size limitations in mind for carry-on eligibility, and consider the lack of side water bottle holders if that's an important feature for you.
