These days everything seems to be powered by rechargeable batteries so it was nice to see something come back on the scene that is a simple solution that just needs a few seconds in the microwave & you’re set to go.The mask comes in a vacuum pack that looks like it’s been crushed to smithereens. Once opened the material is decidedly creased & there’s little scent. I thought that was a harbinger of a fail but things improved.The material is different from the product description photos being shiny & more velvety than what looks like faux suede. The smoothness & softness of the real material is very comfortable.The pad can be used heated or cold from the freezer & is filled with various natural seeds: flax, millet & clay beads. This could be an issue for allergy sufferers although I have seasonal allergies & haven’t had any problems but be aware of the contents. If you love lavender you’ll love the soothing scent of this mask. At first the mask has little scent but once heated the lavender comes to life.You MUST obey the instructions for heating if you want this to last & not end up with toasted or burnt seeds or a potential fire. From my own experience with these types of masks every few uses if you use it frequently you can put a glass of water in the microwave with it to keep it from drying out.This can be used on the eyes but also if you suffer from a sore jaw as a grinder this is excellent shape for wrapping around that area. Also it fits neatly of the knee from joint pain. Basically anywhere you can find a bit that could benefit from some warmth.These masks don’t retain their heat for hours but for the time you probably need it, it’s sufficient. If you want to reheat it before it’s gone completely cold reduce the microwave time & do it in increments so as not to burn it out.Highly recommend for a soothing comfort on tired eyes.

This is a great size, nice and big covering the whole of your forehead and eyes. The cover is nice and soft, it is also removable so can be washed which is great. The bag inside has a subtle lavender scent, can be frozen and warmed but so far I have only heated. I think freezing will be useful when I get migraines as I usually use a cold, damp flannel. I was surprised to see that it is £15.99, I have marked this mask 4* as I was expecting it to be a little bit cheaper than it is.

If you suffer from sore or tired eyes then I strongly recommend trying this wonderful, yet simple eye mask that can be used either hot or cold.Out the box it arrives compressed but once you cut open that packaging you instantly smell that lovely Lavender aroma. The mask feels super soft and squidgy, is stitched together well and moulds perfectly around your face.For my first use I whacked it in the microwave for one minute and out popped a delightfully warm mask that really penetrates into the muscles on your face and across the eye lids. The heat doesn’t last all that long but it’s a quick process to reheat.I have yet to try it in its cold version and not sure I would, even if they’re proven benefits, but as a warm, soothing face mask this product is just lovelyOnly other pointer I’ll add is it did feel a little damp after coming out the microwave but that in no way affects the use of this snuggly mask.

This face mask has a soft cover that is lovely to touch. The instructions say it can be used hot or cold. I used it warm, following the instructions for heating it in the microwave. It is quite large and wraps around the eye area providing a full black out. The warmth is gentle and lasts for a while. There is a subtle scent of lavender which is pleasant and not overpowering. The cover is removal and can be washed. This is handy because I did get a bit sweaty under the mask.The mask is easy and comfortable to use, and perfect for a few minutes of "me" time when your eyes are tired, or sinuses feel blocked..

This is quite large, which is good for covering your eyes and sinuses to help relieve pain and stress. The lavender scent is nice and relaxing too.You warm it in the microwave and stays warm for about 10-15 minutes. It's a soft material that's comfortable to have on the face.However, it would be useful if it had a strap to keep it on your face, so you don't have to lie completely still.

The eye mask is a soft plush fabric, and shapes easily to the contours of the face over the eyes and around the nose. The heating instructions are clear and easy to follow and it doesn't take long to heat in the microwave, on a clean plate. The mask is very soothing on the eyes, face and I found my sinuses did feel clearer, and my eyes less itchy, whilst using the mask - I feel that it helps my hay fever and enables me to breathe more clearly. It feels like a soft, warm compress. Using the mask is treat, and very relaxing, especially with the lovely lavender aroma. I find mine stays warm for about half an hour so is ideal for a short rest/lie down/nap, or for whilst settling off to sleep. The outer fabric can be removed and washed, should it need freshening up; inside is a lavender-filled cushion, quilted to help distribute the contents evenly. It would make a really nice gift, as a soothing treat, for anyone who wants to relax and especially for someone whose eyes and sinuses would benefit from applying some warmth.

The heated eye mask comes in a well presented box as seen in the picture. We have used it several times and it heats up well if you follow the instructions provided as it gives timings you need to adhere to in relation to the strength of your microwave. The fabric of the eye mask is nice and soft and feels lovely on your face. The lavender smell is enhanced when heated and overall, the product is good and I would recommend it.
