Great to check head and air conditioners, motor temp, or scare neighbors as you "scope" them
I got this to check my A/C in my car, and at home to make sure it was cooling. Of course, after you do that, you can shoot this thing at your car engine, lawn mower, BBQ grill, in the freezer, check a beer at the supermarket to see how cold it is, even check the temperature of the fish to make sure you're getting them at a food safe temp.But, the best use is turn on the laser, and point randomly at neighbors as they pass by; some may think you're toying with them, but others will think you have them in your scope and you're ready to fire. Works great at political rallies! Ask the cops!

Inaccurate laser pointer, and inconsistent readings between each unit
The two thermometers are off by a couple of degrees from each other. The bigger problem in my mind is the laser pointer on one of the thermometers shoots off to the left significantly. So what your measuring is not what your pointing at with the laser.

It does what it's supposed to do. Few degrees difference between the two when measuring same things.

Not what I expected...
The temperature fluctuates up and down and it doesn't stop at any one point... I expected by the name of it hold Peak that when it hit the peak temperature it would stop...
