Just the Job
Building a home bar-b-que, we needed to cut quite a few bricks. We didn't want to spend a lot of cash, due to the fact we probably won't need to use one again.This Spectra 3003 Compact Brick Cutter was more than able to complete the job. Very simple operation, and yet sturdy to use!

brick cutter - waste of money
Bought this thinking it would be a quick and easy way of splitting bricks. It isnt, it is unbalanced and fell to pieces after a few attempts to cut bricks, the top blade got blunk very quick, rendering the item useless. One benifit to it, it flies very well which I found out when I threw it in the bin from a good distance - dont waste your money on this - invest in a heavy hammer and a cold-chisel

the chances you take buying over the internet
Simply put it does not work. The brick does not cut and if it does it is unuseable. I phoned the company and they advised I cut on concrete which admittidly I was not doing but it still made no difference. Concidering sending back but it is probably too late now. I find sending stuff back a hassle and time consuming.
