Includes the description in the audio
The media could not be loaded. We have several books of this sort including Noisy Trucks by Tiger Tales. What I love even more about this one is that they include the verbal description before the sound. My son (almost two) has a speech delay and low interest in books unless they are sensory. He doesn’t really like to let me read to him but he will play with books, especially books of this kind. Since the verbal description is in the audio, he is getting an extra layer of learning while “playing” with the book. None of our other sensory and auditory books do this. Keep going in this direction Tiger Tales.

Very nice book, but hard for toddlers to press the buttons
This is a cute book, but the buttons are hard for the toddlers to press. I guess that's a good developmental toy because it gets them to press harder to hear the sounds. The sounds are very cute and the pictures are bright and fun. One issue: the front cover cat fur keeps "shedding" and I am finding little tufts of brown fur around the playroom. One of my toddlers even occasionally eats some of the fur. I emailed the company and they are going to respond soon.

Great concept, didn’t last.
Great concept, but like all things being abused by babies it didn’t last. I’ve had this book since Christmas and so far the binding of the pages are separated, and the car noise doesn’t work anymore. (This is not the company’s fault), my child is 12 months and all she wants to do is flip the pages fast and smash the buttons. I will definitely be storing it until she understands you can’t destroy everything in your path kid!

Last page is a MUST for all parents!
I had no idea that the last page is a sleeping bear and the lullaby coming with that would be so important to improving our toddler's naps! Unfortunately, this makes the book usable only before bedtime because I don't want the poor kid to get sleepy every time he looks over it. But, honestly, I have never seen our toddler so relaxed and getting sleepy until he has played this page a few times and hugged his bear saying "Good night, everyone!"

Interactive and fun!
Great book! My 8 month old, 2 year old, and 4 year old love it! Lots to see and fun to press the buttons and hear the words and sounds! Especially the last page I think is fun with the bedtime song.

Good learning tool
My daughter loves these books. She’s addicted. Sometimes she gets frustrated because the buttons are difficult to press. Also, if you get several books in the same series, you’ll start seeing the same pictures over and over again. Other than that, we enjoy reading these almost every day. She picks them up and brings them to me all the time.

Fun animal sounds
Our granddaughter is just learning all the animal sounds so of course she enjoys this book . It is a little difficult for her to press the sound buttons with her tiny fingers but thats not a big deal , she loves having me read it to her .

Books only contained 5 sounds
I bought two of the Noisy First Words books for a child who is visually impaired. Both books arrived with only 5 sounds though the cover advertises 6 sounds. The last page (with the bear) was missing the fur and sound in both books. Very disappointed.

Pleased with my purchase
Just received this today. My little boy is 18 months and he seems to really like the book and enjoys the sounds. However he seems to be struggling to press the buttons hard enough by himself, hopefully he'll get the hang of it eventually though.

Buttons need to be pressed by adult
Great real life photos to capture a child's attention, and good ideas for the noises of different objects. However, my 17 month old is unable to press the buttons herself, it is very hard for a child to press them, and adult's help is needed. She can't play with it by herself, and this is a huge disadvantage.

Beautifully produced
Clear photographs of everyday objects surrounding one item that makes a noise and has a tactile patch. A fluffy cat that says meow, a duck that quacks, a drum that drums - all very lifelike, but who decided to let the teddy bear snore? All in all a beautifully produced book, lots to talk about and a soothing piece of music at the end.

Good book
It is a good book and my grandson likes it. The buttons are a little difficult for him to press at the moment. The only thing I dislike about it is the American accent but that us just a minor niggle
