I was really skeptical of this Solar Light when I ordered it. There are a lot of Solar Powered motion sensitive lights out there for cheap prices, but they usually have the same problems. They are not bright enough, the light duration is not very long, the quality is lacking, you can't replace the recharable batteries if they fail, and the longevity is questionable. After I got this one, I have to say, it is pretty nice quality, and the seal around the lens and the solar cells is very nice. The battery compartment is easily accessible. But the brightness was amazing. I set it so that it would be on low power until it detected movement and then would come on bright. On low, the 7 LED lights at each corner are on and give enough light to see around where the light is attached. When I walk towards it it comes on bright. I have this one attached to a tool shed that is about 30 feet from my back door, do not really that far. But the moment I open my door, the light comes on. My Tool shed is 16' wide by 24' long. This light on high will brightly illuminate the entire end of my building and the area between my house. Plus on low setting the light will last the entire night until dawn. Then will switch off. So I am very pleased with this light and will be ordering more. I highly recommend this light.*UPDATE* 10/2/2019 Thought I would post an update for those who may be wondering about durability or longevity. I have three mounted & all have been in the weather now for one year and seven months. So far, all are working just as well as when I mounted them. I have them set for low light until motion is sensed and they go bright. Still functioning great. If they get full sun, they will last all night. A little less if it is cloudy or rainy with less sun. I have noticed during the winter when the sun goes down by 5:30 after you have set your clocks forward, they will last to about 2 or 3:00 am after cloudy day, which really impresses me. But I do recommend you check them from time to time and use some warm soapy water to clean off the solar panel on top. Hope this helps.

Love these lights!. They are extremely bright, white and light up a large area. We purchased 4 lights to go around the main pool area, which is about 30 feet wide and 45 feet long. They looked so good that I purchased 4 more right away to place around the rest of the area and stairs leading to the top deck. I also like the versatility of being able to have them on LOW (A) when we have parties and night swimming, and on MOTION (C) for when we're not entertaining. I normally don't like the 'Solar' lights because they never seem to be bright enough, but these LED's are great. The only negative is that the covered switch to change the lights from A-C is in the middle of the back, so if you place them on fence posts, you have to make them off-center to be able to get to it. You could also place them in the middle of the fence section to remedy that. I don't know how long they will last, but they have a rechargeable battery, so I'm optimistic. I highly recommend them.

Seems to be a great well made super bright white light. I really like the completely off/motion bright mode which many don’t have. Most have dim all night then bright when triggered. It has a very sensitive and lengthy activation. We had it on the dining table and only the slightest movement and past a doorway would trigger it. I also like the slight side lighting. Many others have full side lights where I don’t want to light those areas. Only issue is I might need to make a small wedge because at the height I placed it, the light casts well into the neighbors yard. I’ll do some tweaking later. I really have no complaints. Just hope it lasts.UPDATE- we’ll, didn’t even last two years. Won’t charge at all and the solar panel is peeling up. Complete junk.

I reviewed these lights in September and now have an update: I bought 4 and it’s October and one is not working. I’m disappointed it did not last any longer than about a month and half.I love these lights. They are extremely bright and do a perfect job. I just ordered several more to place around the perimeter of our house. This particular light is better than Bulb head lights.

Aloha! This is just what I needed to hang over my garage to 'light the night' in that particular area. I have other security lights at the bottom of my driveway that lead up to my garage and front door. This little, (but bright) light has found its home. The 36 LED's are perfect, not too bright and the fact that it stays on all night in the dim-to-bright mode serves me well. Many thanx for such a fine product!Keoni...

This light is great. It is super bright and covers a large area. It has three settings which is nice. I have already ordered another one I like it so much and based on my recommendation my brother ordered three.

I use these outside for a gated entrance off the street in the back of my house. It provides exactly what I needed - enough light to see the gate and the ground before it from the street. In fact, it was so bright my neighbor said it was shining into her bedroom window across the street so I changed the way it faced!
