great book

I don't know why the book arrived folded neatly in the middle.Who in their right mind folds a book containing staff notation and makes reading difficult.Very disappointed with the condition.

This book is expensive to be honest and it only has few songs in it. But it is a requirement. And my son needs it. At least ordering from amazon makes buying this wee bit better as it was delivered fast (next day delivery through amazon prime) and good quality. Already saving for book 3!

Exactly what we wanted

Great book.

Only contains 9 of the 39 listed pieces on the curriculum, so not great value for money but beautifully presented with interesting footnotes and a synopsis at the back of the ‘pamphlet’ of the full exam requirements. Not sure why these 9 were chosen from the 39 pieces but it is what it is. There’s probably enough in there to keep most people happy given you only need to learn 3-4 of them. I’m learning 4 because I’m planning to do the performance exam but I’ll probably at least try some others just to improve my technique and site reading skill.
