At the begining I was using 2-3 firewood sticks to start a fire. Later realised that It is an overkill. You can split each stick in to 4 or 5 small ( slightly larger than matchstick) pieces, use appropriate kindling with one split piece and fire 15 times more fires!It works perfectly.

I'm seriously impressed with the quality. some pieces better than others but even saying that it's all good wood. I've paid alot more for alot less in weight and quality. I highly recommend this seller and this fatwood. you get so much for your money. I use it for wild camping so won't be needing more. as for pics I'd already gifted some and put some in my kit out bag. the box was full and on weight as described. so much for £10 😉💪👌👍👊

Fantastic value.

As you can see in my photo I can not fault the product, the wood is very tarry, lovely smell of pine tar. Each stick is 21cm long, about half inch to inch wide.Considering there’s sellers cutting this stuff down, sticking it in tins and charging £6 to £8 for what I’d say is just 1 stick from this pack, £14 is a bargain.

Product is good enough, it’s wood with resin in it so will light easy. Can’t complain and few shavings gets tinder going if you prep a fire in the woods right. Some are like pure gold and some was just about impregnated but that’s what can happen with natural products.What annoyed me was the weight of product felt light and it was about 4.2kg including the box it was in. I would’ve contacted seller but to be honest I was busy and a week had gone by so didn’t have a leg to stand on

This fatwood is just what I was after for bushcraft courses. Great price. You will not be disappointed.

These are in every fire kit I own. Using 3, you can easily get a log cabin fire going (if your split logs are dry). I've gotten lazy and don't even need an intermediate medium (sticks).Cons: they WILL drip flaming/scorching pine sap. You won't want this in some grills or ovens. Also a thick black smoke. It's non-toxic, but yeah. Goes away once they burn up.These take a minute to get going, so use a candle or rope end to light it instead of burning your fingers on a Bic. There are some really thin Fatwoods in the box, and these start up super easy. You can light 2-3 at once depending on the wind. I light the middle and big zag three fatwoods at the base of my fire, then just put some logs on top, but slightly elevated (don't put out the Fatwoods).80% of the time, it works every time.

Works great, shave of small pieces and fluff for use with ferro rod or use whole with a lighter. As expected it is a natural product and as such some pieces have more resin than others. Works good for outdoor fires or in my wood stove.

These are great for helping to start a fire if you are having trouble. They light very quickly and help to get your fire started.

Wow this is great, This 10lbs box will last me a very long time. The fatwood have tons of resins. Package came in perfect condition, product is great. The price is very fair for the amount of fatwood. Shipping is a bit expensive, otherwise this is a fantastic buy.

The product ignited rapidly and the delivery service was excellent.
