Not the hardest metal
I get that I shouldn't expect items of the utmost quality for the price paid. They work and they are used for light duty items. Not sure the "spark plug plier" remark is what I would use them for, but I suppose one could. Overall they work, but they have an awful lot of give when you really give it a good squeeze.

Not thin enough
For most deep spark plugs these are too thick to reach down. Returned and would not reccomend unless working on shallow sockets.
