Little Ree

This is a precious book! My seven year old son and four year old daughter are already huge fans of Ree Drummond's "Charlie the Ranch Dog" series of books, and now we (hopefully!) have another series from her to enjoy! The illustrations are beautiful to look at and wonderfully capture the feelings of Little Ree as she makes her transition into country life. Little Ree has an adorable little personality too. My kids love hearing stories told from a younger character's perspective (or from a pet's perspective, as in Charlie the ranch dog's case), and this is a great new character to follow. The hardcover book we purchased is also nicely constructed with sturdy pages. Thank you Ree Drummond for another excellent children's book, and we look forward to more from Little Ree and Charlie!

Ree did it again! This is such a cute story about a little girl who overnight becomes a country girl. My twin girls love this book as one of their good friends is a country girl. Our family is a fan of all of Ree's books, both cookbooks and children's book and this one did not disappoint. The illustrations are beautiful and capture the story with perfection. Everyone needs this book in their library.

This is a great story by Ree and has been wonderfully illustrated by Jacqueline Rogers. Together they have put together a beautiful book. It's my personal opinion that most children's books are bought because of the illustrations. Jacqueline has truely captured the spirit Ree wanted of the little girl in this book with her artwork, definitely a keeper!

Absolutely darling book that I purchased for my grand-daughter. It arrived on Monday and I read it to her the same day. She was full of questions about the ranch life and the pictures. Waiting for Little Ree (second book)???

This is the sweetest book...I bought for two special little girls for Christmas..one a cute little red head and the other a saucy little, funny girl.I always read every book I give for a gift...and I love it!I watch Ree on the food network and feel I know her...so the book is a fun part of her.

I read it to my 5 yr old grand daughter and she loved it. I liked how easy it was for her to understand it all. The pictures were so colorful.

I LOVE this book and so does my 3 year old, she wants to read this every night! It is absolutely adorable!! Not to mention the awesome pancake recipe included :) The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the way it was written..in the little girls perspective. Just makes it a bit awkward to read lol.

This book is adorable - and perfect for anyone who has a child or grandchild that enjoys the country !
