Q: How many tests can be done before running out of the test chemicals?

Thanks for asking. The longevity of this test kit is largely determined by frequency of use, of course. Most pool owners will be able to test regularly for anywhere between 1-2 years before needing to replace solutions. Solutions should be replaced after 2 years regardless, as they do expire.

Q: Is this overkill for a 350 gallon in ground jacuzzi

No. You use the same tests for a pool or a jacuzzi, regardless of size. However, many pool supply places will test your water for free. It makes water testing simple and the occasional full test at the pool supply place keeps everything in line.

Q: Will this work for salt systems?

I have had a Salt System for over 10 years and I have used this test system for over 10 years. It works well. My chlorine generator has a salt level generator and my local pool supply tests for free. I usually have them do an evaluation about twice a year once in the spring and again in the fall to set it up for the winter. I live in middle Georgia and I run my system year round. I haven’t had any water problems.
