I couldn’t be happier with the cage!Really liked one at our local bird store, but could not imagine paying $588 for it so I took a picture of it and went home and searched for the exact same birdcage. This is almost the exact same birdcage. There was another detail on the top plate area that wasn’t the same but other than that This is it same quality cage but half the price I got the pewter color and wow it’s really pretty it’s a soft bluish color very 😃 I’m not one to leave reviews but I had to.

I had purchased a cheaper cage of similar design (but smaller in dimensions) in the past and found several manufacturing flaws in it. The Prevue cage is superior to that other one. This cage assembled easily and the instructions were adequate. Fit and finish is overall very good. The material and finish coating seem of better quality. The color is uniform overall. I only found two problems, as shown in the photos. One of the bolts securing the play platform to the top of the cage went in easily. The rest were difficult to get threaded and bolted in, with one (photo) bolt hole so off center it could not be used at all. One of the provided wooden perch rods was very warped (photo), which, honestly, will be no problem as we hadn't planned on using them anyway. Overall, we are very pleased with this cage and hope the Sun Conure baby will find it a good home.

This is an incredible cage, well built, roomy and very easy to assemble. Looks gorgeous in my living room. My indianringneck has plenty of space. Really happy about this purchase.

This is NOT for an African Grey. It is too high and narrow, with the bird being chest heavy, and could cause seriously injury if she falls that far to the cage floor. The metal is much thinner than what I would have bought if I had seen it in a store. It came to the house bent, rusted and damaged. Most disturbing is that the too DEEP food bowls are placed too close to the perch which is going in the wrong direction for eating, dipping and drinking and there is no room in the front part of the cage to add a perch that does go horizontal to the bowls. Complete waste of money. This will be donated to a bird sanctuary.

I didnt have any problems putting it together it's very sturdy my yellow sided green cheek conure grizzly is happy he has a lot of room I did have to order another set of the smaller bows because the bigger ones were too big for him. But over all I am happy with my purchase.

I bought this cage as an upgrade for my moustache parakeet, and he LOVES it! He warmed up to it very quickly and it looks really nice in my living room. My bird loves to climb around the bars that hold the perch up at the top!The only thing that is a little bit difficult to maintain is the poop/food catcher. It doesn’t slide to remove, you have to actually unscrew it from the cage to remove it. This isn’t an issue for me, but it’s something useful to know!Overall, an amazing cage. I’ll be buying another for my cockatiel at some point!!!

I did not have the problems with bad welds or poor packaging that some other reviewers have had.Assembly was easily done by one person, in spite of the suggestion of the directions that a helper might be needed. Simply start by laying the cage on its side for the first step; then stand it up for the rest. A few screws were missing, for holding the seed skirt together, but I'm not going to use that anyway.Our parrot is for *sure* going to pull the food cups out of the holders and throw them and their contents around. It amuses him; he likes the noise and the reaction he gets. If there were some screw or the like to hold those cups in, at least all he would be able to throw would be the food itself. Fortunately he doesn't do that; it's just the racket from the cups falling that he really enjoys. I'll have to spend some money on finding something a little more secure - money I'd rather have spent on having that security built into the cage.Feature updates I'd like to see include having a larger front door, for easier access to cleaning the interior. On the plus side: at least that door does swing all the way open.This cage might be a tad small for an African Grey, but we only got it for my daughter's bird, who will be visiting from time to time. I'd say it was a good buy for the money.

We have been living with our Parrot for over 4o years. It was time to downsize her cage without creating harm. We are Seniors now, we just could not take care of the cage she was in anymore the way we like.We are very pleased with the cage, all is well and, by the way, we did get some touch up paint but did not have to use it. We love it that Polly can not get to the litter pan anymore. Since we are not using the play top, we use the pan from the top on the bottom also,we just rotate them when cleaning, so no more messing on the carpet for Polly while we clean her litter pan, that is fantastic. We were concerned about how our bird would adjust, but she has taken to the new cage just fine.My handy husband put it together without any problems and really fast.The cage arrived very fast also.Our old, really large cage is being spruced up and donated to our local pound and so we are all happy about this change.Happy bird keeping you all!

Cage came in perfect condition. Instructions were simple to follow. I did require a second set of hands to help put it together. Love the colour. The cage is for one GC Conure...so I feel, as well as the breeder, that the cage is a great size, especially having the playtop.I chose to not set up the seed catcher only because I have 3 young children running around, didn’t want them bumping in to the corners of the seed catcher and getting hurt.My only dislike is unrelated to the cage itself...it’s the price. I was lucky to get it for an excellent price. However, I was looking at buying a second one for my 2 budgies and the price is more than double what I paid. So I will be waiting for the price to drop.

The product itself is really well made, I really appreciate lots of the small details on it. It's got the double catch on the front door, the bottom grate pulls out and locks in place, the top and bottom trays both can be pulled out for cleaning and the food bowls lock in place so the bird can't lift them up. It's a really good size for my green cheek conure and it feels incredibly sturdy. If this was all I'd give this product 5 stars however I've had to take off a few stars because of the wildly fluctuating price. It seems to fluctuate randomly across all sizes and colours for no obvious reason (e.g a flash sales etc) and I feel like I might of gotten a bad deal. I got the pewter as it was 30 quid cheaper than the green I was also considering however the following day the price had jumped up £100. I checked the other sizes and found the size just above was about £200 more than mine but then going up to the largest cage it was actually £60 cheaper? Every day the prices change randomly (some sizes and colours vary by over £300 from one day to the next) and if I had realised how much the prices fluctuate I would of waited before buying. (I also wish I'd seen this beforehand as would of liked a bigger cage for the same money but as the cage is already built and used I obviously can't return it.) As a customer there is no obvious reason I can see as all items show as dispatched and sold by Amazon. So if you do want this item I'd advise keeping a very close eye on the price as you could potentially save yourself quite a lot if you get it at the right time.

This cage arrived with very little damage compared to the Dome top that I ordered. Great cage, nice size, easy to clean and very easy to assemble.
