IC International Concepts Mission Entertainment/TV Stand Solid Real Wood, Sturdy Parawood, 48 X 16 X 30, Minimum Assembly, DIY, Paint or Stain in Any Color, Unfinished

This is the second piece of furniture I've purchased from International Concepts. I first bought a kitchen island and am in love with how solid and well built it is. So I sought out an entertainment center for the same reasons. This piece doesn't disappoint! It's really well built, incredibly sturdy, and I can stain it any color I'd like. It's the perfect height and has 2 adjustable shelves to suit your needs.However, you have to put it together yourself with VERY vague instructions. You really, REALLY have to pay attention to the pictures and which way the piece is supposed to be facing before fastening it in place. Several pieces will fit different ways, and that leads to issues. I read the sparse instructions, took a peek at the pictures to get an idea, and I ended up taking it apart 3 times to get it set properly. If I had put it together correctly the first time I'd say total assembly would take an hour or so.Overall, it's great. Wish I could give it a 5, but the assembly brought it down to a 4.

This is the 3rd piece of Interntional Concepts furniture I have purchased and each time I am so impressed! Not just with the quality and ease of assembly but also with the packing. I really don't care for MDF and would much rather pay a little more for the quality of this wood furniture. I always buy unfinished and have found it very easy to paint. Will definitely be purchasing more whenever I need a piece of solid wood furniture!

Assembly was no problem. All parts came in good condition. Is very sturdy. The drawers stick just a little - most likely due to the paint adding thickness. For reference, I used early american stain on the top, sherwin williams azure jazz on the rest. I probably would go with a color closer to navy if I had to do it over. I also purchased my own drawer pulls to change it up.

Easy assembly! The wood was perfect! We painted and stained this piece. Good quality furniture!

We have 2 lingerie dressers we like that are similar to this stand. Same wood, same unfinished surface. The problem with this stand is the horrible quality of materials. The drawers are a nightmare to get in and that's because the ball bearings that are used to glide the drawers in properly jump out of their sockets with movement. The metal track is so cheap it bends when you look at it so why wouldn't it bend when putting a drawer in?And the 2 shelves? Omg, they're too short for the space and the brackets to hold them in place are too small for the holes. The whole stand has issues. Can't send it back because I painted it prior to discovering this stand is a piece of doo-doo. At least it looks good...

Very nice piece, I white washed it to finish it and it looks great. Hard to find solid wood furniture at a reasonable price. If you are willing put in a little effort.

Great item. The only thing it lacked was directions in how to assemble! Minor detail.

Absolute garbage. Cannot be put together because of numerous missing pieces- To be clear, not just a missing screw or piece of wood, but the actual construction is wrong. And the real scam of it all is the thing is so heavy and big you won't ever be able to send it back. This is a HUGE scam. Do not trust this company. You'll get stuck with a huge piece of furniture that is unusable and can't be sent back.
