Way better than crimp connectors.
I learned of these from a coworker and decided to try them out. I have a trailer that was manufactured using guillotine and crimp connectors and they have been all failing. I used these to repair the wiring and they seem to be holding up very well so far. Easy to use and are sealed at the ends.

Awesome product. Worked perfectly
The product worked so well that I did not waste a single connector. The heat gun melted the solder and closed the ends with shrink-wrap and with plastic rings that melt and seal the ends. Worked perfect.

High quality connector
If you need a Marine Grade connect this is a great budget choice. There are better connectors that cost a lot more, but these get the job done.

Good watertight seal
I use these connectors for all connections, but first I solder the wires then use the connector for added support. It makes a water tight connection and the adhesive gives added strength to hold the wires together.

Use a heat gun, not a mini torch or lighter. If you use a heat gun you get awesome results.

Me and my son rewired older outboard trihull anyway , I allegedly left the plug out, anyway got full of water. All the wires wet never skipped a beat.

Solder Seal wire connector works great
I used a two stage heat gun to melt the solder and shrink the coating. Was careful not to overheat the heat-shrink. After melting the solder, I tried to pull it apart but it held. Worked great.

Work better than expected
Bought these with mixed ratings and was surprisingly impressed. The trick I think is to have the correct little heat gun with the curved metal heat sheild on the end. You must also be patient and heat slowly but both the solder and sealant will melt. Very happy

Trade those crimpers in for a torch.
I know they say use a heat gun and only a heat gun, torch will work if you are CAREFUL. Least for me it seems too. Watch the YouTube. Things are tough for enough for any wiring jobs that don’t call for suspending equipment (not sure if any that would..?).
