The media could not be loaded. The videos and pictures say it all. My son loves this tesla coil. If you like science and working with electricity, this is for you. Takes some time to set up but its worth it. The seller responded right away and helped us with problems getting it working. He even sent us a 2nd new tesla coil when the original one wasn't working. If you are gonna buy a tesla coil, you must buy from this seller, they will make sure you are up and running in no time.

Works great, but could use better hookup instructions or video.
Arrived in excellent shape. Instructions were not very helpful except for warnings. No explanation on howto hook everything together. Needed to be in dark room to see discharge. Basically one learns by experimenting with it.

Delicate and poorly designed
When I first received the coil the product did not work-I traced the problem to a tiny secondary wire passing through the base which was snapped. After soldering the wire the machine worked fine, but after storage for a few months the machine is again inoperative. There is a fiber-optic connection between the control module and the driver which is difficult to connect properly and easily damaged. No support or replacement parts apparent.

Awesome, until not
Awesome show, but after connecting music from a receiver headphone jack and playing for less than a minute I burned out the power transistors on the high voltage side. I think that the device needs a cooling fan -for which I’ll ad. In the process of repairing now.

This thing is rad, and super loud
So this thing is not ready to go out of the box. that being said, it does work and it is pretty sweet. I didn't get any instructions for it. I had to email the seller to get some pretty poorly written Chinese instructions. bottom line. if you are ordering it in the US, you are going to need a voltage transformer. I got the 800w on here on amazon and it works just fine. you also need a grounding post pounded into the ground to hook up the ground wire. It was fairly easy to get some square wave music playing on it.
