JustNile 4" Bedside Alarm Clock with Backlight - Beige Classic Rose

I bought the clock for a Christmas gift for my elderly mother who was always having trouble setting the alarm on her digital alarm clock. She would set it for 8 p.m. by mistake when she was trying to set it for 8 in the morning, or it wasn't loud enough, or the buttons were too hard to find. Anyway, I must have gotten her 10 different alarm clocks that she didn't like and she didn't even want to try an analog clock for some reason. I saw this one, and because I could get one to match the colors of her bedroom, I thought she might consider it. She loved the way it looked and put it on her nightstand but said she couldn't set it because there was no a.m./p.m. button! I guess it was just too easy... one button to set the time, one button to set the alarm, one button to turn the alarm on and off, and one button to light it up. That's it... and once she got it she loved it, said it was nice and loud. This was almost as challenging as getting her to try Easy Spirit shoes that she liked so much that she wears them all the time and has them in every color! :)

Bought two of these (one was a different color) for my girls for Christmas, and they're great and we love that they have little lights to see what time it is in the middle of the night, BUT the biggest complaint about them is that you cannot set the alarm very far in advance. There is no AM/PM distinction. So if your kids go to bed at 7PM, and need to wake up by 7AM - you can't set the alarm. My husband and I have tried and tried to tweet this and can't seem to get around it. So other than it is easy to read, looks good in the bedrooms, and is stylish. Another thing to think about - the alarm is SOOO LOUD!!! It could easily wake the whole house.

Clock is nice, I wanted something that lit up in the dark. When I saw that the description said "backlit" I assumed that it lit up on its own. There is no way to turn it on and keep it on, just a button to push to light it up briefly. I don't use it at all now. To bad, I liked the look and style of it.

I am disappointed that in order to see the time in a dark room one must grapple around the back of the clock to find the correct button to push to illuminate the face of the clock .

-has a cute look to it-quite, NO ticking-runs on one AA battery, no chord!!-super loud alarm-i like that it doesn't always have a lit up face, like digital clocks, so it keeps your room dark for sleeping-button on the back of the clock for the light, but very easy to find, and is only lit while pressing the button-switch on the back to turn the alarm on and off.-very loud alarm-alarm would need to be turned on every night, and turned off in the morning, because there is no AM/PM distinction, so the alarm would go off in PM as well.price is right, looks nice. i will probably buy another one for my spare bedroom.

The alarm set pointer could not be set with any accuracy. It was off from the time I tried to set it for from 10-30 minutes. Since my rising time is different from day to day, this was a daily frustration. Returned it.

Very good little clock. The alarm is very loud, no problem waking up. The only complaint I have is that you have to move a switch on the back of the clock to turn the alarm off, a little hard to do sometimes when you are fumbling in the dark. Maybe it is something you could adjust to and it will become easier to find the more you do it. Over all, my daughter loves it. I would have rathered a wind up clock, but that is really hard to find.

Was exactly what my MIL wanted and needed. She loves it. Quiet, highly readable time, easy to set alarm, no power outage stopping.Electronic clocks are complicated to set and may not alarm if power goes out at night (and backup battery dead). Older folks worry about missing flights etc.This clock is silent (no ticking) and simple, reliable.
