Yuuki Menstrual Cup and Infuser Box Set - Small Soft

WARNING: Okay so this review will obviously be TMI big time, as is the item itself!! :)I had a Moon Cup before I bought the Yuuki (both bigger sizes, as I had given birth before). Originally I bought the Moon Cup because not having to constantly buy tampons sounded like an awesome idea! I'm not per se the "save the whales" type of person, but definitely a "save my vagina" kind of person. Paper products, both tampons and pads, seem to irritate my lady parts a lot. Plus I hate that tampons just dry out my "insides." (You know what I'm talking about!)Anyway - so I bought the Moon Cup a few months back and tried using it. However combined with my lack of experience and how hard the cup was (and the fact that I did no realize that cutting the stem off completely would make it MUCH better), I did not have a good time and went back to tampons and pads :((Then I came across some awesome YouTube videos (I highly recommend looking up videos by "Precious Stars Pads" - she has reviewed every kind of cup you can find!) Based on her review I bought this Yuuki cup, because I learned that it also had a larger capacity and I wanted a cup to last me overnight. Plus I wanted to give this whole "green vagina project" another go ;)Yuuki cup exceeded my expectations. From the pretty look (its see-through! and when you wash it it does not get clouded, so kind of looks cleaner than the Moon Cup). It also seems that the walls of Yuuki are thinner than Moon Cup's but the rim is just as sturdy and grips onto my "insides" so its very secure.What I love about Yuuki, as well as the Moon Cup is the fact that it pops open and you KNOW it pops because you feel it. It does not hurt. But I like knowing that it popped, so I know there will be no leaks.Anyways - I just got my Yuuki cup a few weeks ago and my last period was COMPLETELY paper-product-free and I'm very happy about it! I have not had any leaks, and it was able to handle my super heavy days (and they are HEAVY) and lasted overnight!On my super heavy day I had to empty it out about every 2-3 hours. After that, I could easily have a good 9-hour sleep (he he) without worrying about emptying it out until the morning.I will definitely be buying more as needed, or even an extra one just as back up!Oh and also I recommend cutting the whole bottom stem off, as the grips on the bottom of the cup are very good and I have no problem taking it out without having to pull the stem. The stems of both Moon and Yuuki, if un-cut, make this whole experience very uncomfortable and pokey :(Another useful tip for any of you considering switching but worried about changing it out in the public bathroom: I found that the little green container Yuuki cup with comes in very handy and its very stealth-y. I keep both my Yuuki and Moon Cup in there, and the Moon Cup is my backup, in case I'm unable to completely clean it out in a public bathroom. I just take out and use the clean Moon Cup and wrap the used one in toilet paper and stick it in the green container to clean out later (obviously dump all the blood out!). Having two cups definitely gives me a peace of mind about public bathrooms! So I would recommend buying 2 :)Phew - I hope this review helps and I hope it makes sense. I definitely think this is the best cup on Amazon. ( Another cup that is similar is the JuJu cup, but I could not find it on Amazon, its sold from Australia and its also more expensive than this one... I'm considering buying JuJu too, just to compare)

I am a first time user after doing lots of research, and I settled on buying the soft, small Yuuki cup for three reasons:1. Its reasonable price2. The infuser box will be a discreet way to sterilize it.3. It's constantly reviewed as a cup that you will not have problems with on opening properly.The package came a few days before my period, and I started trying it on,and I'm using it now during my period. Here's what I experienced:1. Smooth insertion and it really opens everytime. I feel the cup very slightly once it is inside for about 5 minutes, then I don't feel it anymore.2. No leaks due to cup problems.3. I felt a "poke-y" sensation from the original length of the stem,easily solved by trimming to a comfy length (See picture for comparison).4. It has strong suction, which I felt as I tug the stem slightly to reach the base. Suction quickly breaks when you press the base, making it easy to take out. I think this is due to the slanted holes on top. Great design by the company.5. The measuring lines are interesting. It's interesting to find solid data on my period like never before.6. Putting the infuser box with a closed lid in the microwave makes it boil over and make the whole microwave damp with water. I will try sterilizing with the lid off next time. The water might have a better chance evaporating properly.Overall, the Yuuki cup is wonderful! It made my first menstrual cup experience comfortable. My learning curve was short and easy. I'm never going back to pads!I think it'll take a while for me to figure out how to use the infuser box without posing risk by ruining the microwave. I'll update this review with info on this.

I used the Diva Cup for years, then purchased this after watching practically all of "Precious Stars Pads'" youtube reviews of menstrual cups. With the Diva Cup, I often found it was hard to insert. There was just too much "friction" when (ahem...) "things were dry" (sorry!). The Diva Cup also didn't pop open about 50–70% of the time. I had to turn it, turn some more, and then maybe it'd pop open. All that being so, I didn't have leakage after the first two months. It was just annoying and kinda' painful putting it in sometimes.I didn't expect the Yuuki to be significantly different from the Diva Cup, because it seems to be almost exactly the same size and shape and material. Its "softness" rating is the same as the Diva Cup. I was actually a little worried about it because the one difference seemed to be that the rim is slightly larger than the Diva Cup, and I thought that's why the Diva Cup wasn't popping open. BUT...As it turns out, the Yuuki is AMAZING. It is SO much easier to insert (even when dry!) than the Diva Cup and the second I let go of the folded cup—POP! it's open! This thing is amazing. Now that I own it, I do notice a distinct difference in the texture of this cup compared to the Diva Cup. It's much "slicker". And the rim does seem ever so slightly larger, but I have zero pain inserting it and I am so relieved to now have a cup I know is 100% open all the time. (Because not having it totally open is the #1 cause of leakage.)I absolutely recommend this cup for anyone interested in trying a menstrual cup. It is reasonably priced and, even though it came from the Czech Republic, it got here reasonably fast (for international shipping).Other notes: The sterilization cup is awesome. I trimmed the stem completely off the Yuuki because the grips around the bottom of the cup provide plenty of traction for pulling it out.If you want a menstrual cup, this is a safe first buy!Thank you, Yuuki people! :-D

Very happy with the delivery and the product

ich war ja lange seeeehr skeptisch und hatte einfach so meine probleme mit dem gedanken, die volle tasse ohne viel sauerei wieder rauszukriegen 😅aber wenn man weiß wie es geht, ist es super easy.das einführen klappte von anfang an problemlos und ploppte auch immer sofort auf. danach rutscht die eigentlich ganz von allein an die richtige stelle.den stiel musste ich etwas kürzen, da der ziemlich unangenehm war. geht aber ganz einfach mit der schere.ansonsten sitzt sie perfekt. dank einer beratung welche tasse zu mir passt. blindlinks eine zu kaufen hätt ich mich nicht getraut.die L verwende ich an den starken tagen und die S für die leichteren.meine mens hat sich mit der tasse von 6 auf 4-5 tage verkürzt und auch die bauchkrämpfe haben stark nachgelassen bzw sind die manchmal sogar komplett weg.zum reinigen für unterwegs (wenn man kein waschbecken beim klo hat) hab ich mir noch sagrotan intimfeuchttücher gekauft. damit kann man die tasse dann sehr gut putzen und fühlt sich frischer an.anfangs hatte ich zwar auch eun etwas unsicheres gefühl ob sie dicht hält, aber das ist komplett verschwunden und sollte sie tatsächlich mal voll sein, dann spürt man es. ich wechsle nur 2x am tag. außer die regel ist wirklich mal sehr stark, dann 3x. keun vergleich zu tampons die ich alle 3-4h wechseln musste.fazit: es war eine sehr gute entscheidung und ich fühl mich toll damit.hab es auch schon meinen freundinnen empfohlen.selbst im schwimmbad hab ich jetzt ein gutes gefühl. es kann nicht plötzlich ein bändchen aus der badehose hängen und das gefühl dass der tampon vielleicht zu schnell voll sein könnte und man es übersieht, ist auch weg 😉😅😃nie mehr ohne tasse 😊😊

Ich hatte noch nie eine Menstruationstasse, da ich nicht wusste welche für mich geeignet ist habe ich die Yuuki Soft 2 bestellt und die Femme Essentials Menstruationstasse Größe L. Ich habe zwei Kinder mit Kaiserschnitt entbunden, einen sehr straffen Beckenboden und die Menge an Blut ist nnm sehr viel. Bei einem Super Plus Tampon ist an meinen stärksten Tagen die Kapazität nach 1x5 Std erschöpft, bei der Tasse nach ca 4 Std.Die beiden Tassen die ich hatte sind ziemlich genau gleich groß, die Femme Essentials deutlich weicher.Vorteil der Yuuki ist, dass sie durch ihre "Härte" auch sehr gut aufploppt innen, auch wenn der Beckenboden sehr fest ist. Dadurch konnte ich hier die Punch-Down-Faltmethode anwenden, die dann beim Einsetzen der Tasse etwas angenehmer für mich war als der C-Fold. Bei der Femme Essentials war das Einsetzen nur mit C-Fold von Erfolg gekrönt, die Punch-Down-Faltung konnte sich im Inneren nicht von alleine Entfalten, dazu war offenbar der Beckenboden zu straff.Der STiel der Yuuki war länger als bei Femme Essentials, den musste ich kürzen.In den ersten Tagen war die Yuuki Tasse nicht weiter unangenehm, aber ab ca Tag 3 tat mir das harte Material dann schon "weh" weshalb ich dann auf die weichere Tasse wechseln musste.Als Anfängerin hatte ich bei beiden Tassen das Problem, dass ich das Vakuum nicht lösen konnte und Probleme beim Entfernen der Tasse hatte. Hier möchte ich allen Anfängerinnen das verraten, was für mich dann auch das Entscheidende bei der Entfernung war: die Tasse, wenn sie nicht durch Drücken mit der Beckenbodenmuskulatur von selbst fast rauskommt, mit dem Stiel etws herunterziehen, sodass man den untersten Teil der Tasse gut fassen und zusammendrücken kann, dann bloß nicht loslassen, denn sonst hat man nur Restluft aus der Tasse gedrückt und das Vakuum sogar noch verstärkt. (das war mein Fehler) Also die Tasse unten zusammendrücken und dann rausziehen. Und dann erst wenn sie raus ist wieder loslassen!Die Yuuki hat schräge Löcher oben unter dem Rand, die Femme Essentials gerade Löcher, ansonsten unterscheiden sie sich wie gesagt nur durch Farbe und Härte.Tendenziell ist mir jetzt, wo ich das Einsetzen schon gut beherrsche die weichere Femme Essentials Tasse lieber, die Yuuki tut mir einfach nach einigen Tagen weh und vor allem das Herzausziehen ist sehr schmerzhaft weil der obere Rand die STelle mit dem dicksten Material ist und somit auch das unnachgibigste an der ganzen Tasse, was beim Einsetzen den Vorteil hat dass sie sicher voll aufploppt aber beim Rausziehen nicht einknickt und formstabil bleibt.Vom Material und von der Verarbeitung her sind beide ok, geruchsneutral und der Becher der Yuuki ist für die Aufbewahrung praktisch, den Beutel der Femme Essentials finde ich persönlich nicht so praktisch.Der Yuuki gebe ich 4 Punkte weil sie groß ist und gut aufploppt aber durch die Härte auch nach einiger Zeit unangenehm auffällt, wohingegen ich die Femme Essentials garnicht mehr spüre.

Vorab ich kann nicht viele Sterne für meinen Teil geben, andere Frauen können aber mehr glück haben. Ich habe sie bestellt und kam auch schnell an , also Lieferung klasse. Habe sie sterilisiert und wollte sie einsetzen bis hierher keine Probleme. Allerdings ist sie nachgerutscht, da ich sehr empfindlich bin , ist diese Tasse für mich leider nix, da ich die Riemen spüren konnte, die zur Tassenergreifung dienen. Schade, denn sonst saß sie wirklich klasse. ABER hier kommt der Verkäufer dem Kunden wirklich SEHR entgegen und erstattete mir meine Kosten, was sehr lobenswert ist !!!!

Qualität ist gut, Versand wie gewohnt zügig.Mir persönlich passt sie besser als die Yuuki 2 Rainbow, da sie etwas Härter ist und mein Beckenboden sie nicht so eindrückt, dass sie ausläuft. Aber die Passform ist ja anatomisch bei jeder Frau anders und danach sollte die Tasse ausgewählt werden. Ich hatte eine Beratung über die Ladyways Fb-Gruppe
