The best investment of 2020! I was so tired of sitting under my hot hooded dryer, this cap is amazing! It’s warm, comfortable and gets the job done just like the hooded dryer. It’s convenient that it’s a microwaveable cap, I don’t have to be sitting in my room next to my plug

I really like this heat cap. I can do things around the house while I get my deep conditioning on. I microwave it for 30 sec, turn it inside out, microwave another 30 sec, turn it back right around and microwave another 30 sec. It stays warm for about 15-20 minutes. I read many reviews before purchasing that said their cap burned in the microwave. I can totally see how that could happen if you are not microwaving it in increments and turning it, but common sense you don't want to overheat it if its going on your head.

I’ve used this heating cap a half dozen times and it gets the job done. Much more comfy fit then my previous conditioning cap. The one less star is that heat only last CONSISTENTLY for about 20-30 min, then I notice cold spots coming back. I’ve tried to remedy that by spreading out the flax seed more evenly before heating in the microwave. Overall I’m satisfied since I don’t really deep condition my hair beyond 30 min, but if you are one who likes to go beyond a 30 min hair conditioning treatment be sure to reheat the cap because the cap Heat will not last that long.

Good fit and I have a lot of thick, coarse hair. Like the extra caps that come with it. Easy to use and well made.

I have really thick, relatively long 4a hair (when curly, it goes anywhere from the base of my neck to about an inch past my shoulders, and when straightened, to the middle of my back). It takes a bit of effort to get ALL of my hair underneath the heat cap. And the beads in it are uneven, so the front part of my head ends up getting more heat than the middle or back unless I rotate the cap... and even then the heat doesn't last for very long. This will work in a pinch, but could be improved

This thing does not work properly. It is trash! This cap doesn’t stay warm for very long. After putting it into the microwave on my third use, it ended up going up in smoke. It almost caught on fire! It is heavy. Doesn’t heat evenly. Doesn’t heat properly and it is a fire hazard. Beware!

I’ve always wanted to buy a hothead so when I saw this on sale for prime day I jumped at the chance to get it. It’s made out of flaxseed which I didn’t read about so it’s a little annoying cause sometimes they are all accumulated on 1 side. It’s very easy to use and it does heat up but due to the material being flaxseed it’s a little heavy. Also if you have a bigger head than me which my head isn’t too big, it might not fit you.
