Filters the air really well.

After a year and a half of being inside... So glad I made this purchase 16 months ago. I'm an allergy sufferer to begin with. Add to that that we have an old house, and they have been doing a full building remodel in the attached building since 12/19. My sinuses would have been unbearable without my Vremi. The only noise I notice is when someone cooks something that causes smoke, or the air quality changes. That's a good thing because you would want to be aware of both of those things. When this happens the lights will reflect the amount of pollutants in the air...red being the highest. As it clears things up then colors go back down and are quiet by the time they get to blue again. Replacement filters are easy too. I buy the double pack. I dusted the vent holes, and REMOVED THE CLEAR PLASTIC FROM THE FILTER BEFORE PLACING IT INSIDE THE MACHINE. Some people have complained of a plastic burning smell... Also remember to hold the red filter indicator down for 3 seconds after replacing the filter or it will stay on. I also let the fan run on high for 15 to 20 minutes after replacing the filter. The unit is so quiet that I sit it near my computer desk and no one has ever heard it in meetings or when I'm on calls. Hope this review is helpful to allergy sufferers and people that live in old houses. Stay well. 🙂

I will buy again exactly as described

We got our Vremi to use in an apartment that had mold problems. Now it's out in our sunroom, getting rid of pollen and such. The replacement filters are easy to use, last a satisfactory time, and keep the area comfortable for our allergy sufferers. We've bought these before and will buy them again.

Good name brand filters for the Vremi air purifier. Have had them last 6 months and a little more before having to be replaced. One thing to remember, however, is to take them out of the unit once or twice to remove dirt and 'fluff' from the outer shell of the filter (as we've found it helps to extend the life of the filter). Best way is to use the brush adapter on your vacuum.

There are a lot of "compatible" filters out there, but none I could find that actually met the VREMI quality of assembly. I found several less expensive filters, and they all used carbon pellets instead of smoothly distributed activated carbon like VREMI uses. Pellets? The air blows right past them without being filtered at all; why would you want that? The same is true of the pretend HEPA filters for your car: If you see a pic of carbon pellets, go somewhere else, they don't work! I have been very pleased with the VREMI filters and they do a great job of cleaning the air of pollen, pet dander, dust, you name it. Keeps my allergies down. A big thumbs up for these filters.
