This matt is good at what it's supposed to do: provide moderate warmth across its surface. In a very cold setting, its warmth will seem minimal, but it's up to the job.

These mats are great! But 2 out of the 6 I purchased simply don’t work. So they are great when they work

Super easy! Take it out of the box and plug it in. Done.All the seeds in the trays sitting on the mat are germinating much quicker than without the heat mat.Very pleased.

I use these for the stray cats that adopted us. I put these under their blankets in the little houses we built for them. I have some very happy kitties. They don't want anything to do with being inside so these work out great.

Be careful when using this pad! Temperatures vary across the pad as measured with a digital laser thermometer. And temperature is much hotter at the cord end. Also the cord end gets 30 degrees hotter than ambient temperature which is much hotter than indicated by seller. A thermostat or other voltage controller is needed; I use a rotary light dimmer switch that works for resistance type devices.

For the price , I m happy with this product.

Heating mat is exactly as described

Used them outdoors in my little greenhouse to start seeds, then brought them in and put them under my propagation boxes for my houseplants. Has really helped speed up rooting in my hoya plants!

Quite an expensive product, only for it to be too hot for seedlings/cuttings. It seems counter intuitive that they do are too hot for their intended purpose. Would be better with adjustable temp, however this of course is sold separately for an exuberant cost.This resulted in the death of some of my plants within 1-3hrs since their soil/root zone became so overheated

I purchased two and they both work great. They were rolled so they didn't have bends in them. One laid flat right out of the box. The other had a bit of a wave on one end a couple of canned soup on that end for about 15 minutes and flattened no problem. I've added the picture I took of them right out of the box and laid out on my table. Monitored the temp with my hands on the first use and got warm but not too hot. Seemed to maintain a warm temp once it reached a certain point but there is no temperature control so that is all I can say on that.

Purchased the 10x20 for my seedling trays and it works great. From what I can tell so far, it's cut germination time to about half of what it was without the pad; my leaf lettuce sprouted in about two days with maybe 20 hours total on the pad. Without temperature control, I rotate between my trays and unplug the pad when ambient air temp is high enough for germination on its own. If the temperature is highly variable in your grow station, like mine is, you probably want to be careful leaving your trays on the pad for too long or invest in some temperature control. Overall though, the pad is of good build quality and the design is pretty much the same as some alternatives, but maybe at more of a value.

The media could not be loaded.  The seed mat is a quality product at an affordable price. It works as described, and benefits from the addition of a thermostat controller so user can adjust heat depending on plants being propagated.I would buy this item again.

Great little heating mat for seedlings. Have had some water drip out of the dome and onto the map with no issues. Says waterproof but haven’t had any water on the connector area... yet. Would purchase again but could have also put it on top of fridge or somewhere warm(er).
