Got the whole kit, pic is misleading
I installed this kit in a 2022 Colorado after watching install video on etrailer.com. It did take a bit of work to get it all in, had to remove the front fascia, but not that big of a deal if you’re handy. I mounted the breakaway tank on the passenger side by the horns, so it could be vertical (unlike the video). I also didn’t like their under seat bracket for the cylinder. I made my own out of a piece of 3/8” x 2” bar stock that I mounted to the seat slides. I drilled out the slider rivets then bolted thru the sliders to the bar. I ran the air tube under the door channel and the seat to the quick connect I mounted to the bar. Works great, but have only pulled it 1,000 miles so far. Also made my own bracket for the brake light switch which I got at O’reilly for about $9.I chose this system partly because it’s relatively simple and cheap (but good quality), but also because I didn’t want to use up valuable cab space for a box that cable systems use.Hope this helps someone.

To date I have only pulled the Blazer just under 500 miles and the Brakemaster has preformed great. Installation instruction wer
Had to build a costum mounting bracket so it would work in my 1999 Chevorlet Blazer. Prior to the Blazer I pulled a 1996 Cheve Cavilier with a surge break 140,000 miles with my 97 Holiday Rambler Endevor diesel pusher. To date I have only pulled the Blazer just under 500 miles and the Brakemaster has preformed great. Installation instruction were good, easy to understand. The brake relay valve on my motorhome was located just ahead of the rear axle so the air installation was prety stright foreward. Running the signal wire the length of the motorhome was a chore. Taking the braking cylinder in and out of the Blazer is no real iconvience. I believe it is much easier then some of the large units that I see some people using.Anyway so far I'm very happy with the Brakemaster. Hope I never have to use the brake away but it is a good feature. Didn't have one with the Cavilier.

No base as pictured.
The picture is not the same as what was deleivered. Shows a base which was not in the package. Otherwise is built well.⁹

Excellent option and cheaper!
Takes a few hours or more to install but anyone decent with a vehicle can do it themselves. Its difficult finding places on the vehicle to install the pieces of equipment. However it works excellent and is extremely easy and small to set up and take out for towing. Excellent option for those with diesel rig/air brakes and works in proportin to how hard you push the brake in rig to get stopped. That is especially helpful when towing something heavier than a little car in traffic. About half the price of that huge brake box that can fail the camper stores sell. Definitely a great decision/purchase.

True proportional braking for towed vehicle
A bit of a challenge to install but simple to use and excellent proportional braking of the towed vehicle.

Brake Buddy died
Easy to follow instructions, took couple of hours to install. Made my own seat bracket adapter out of some 1/4" flat bar. Towing my Rubicon behind the Journey this month for 3000 miles. Wish me luck

RoadMaster pneimatic brake system
This picture is outdated. When I saw this on line I thought the foot pate came with the unit. It no longer does. Road master have change there design so that you have to buy a separate seat bracket over and above the brake system This meant my install had to wait until I received the seat bracket. Once I had all of the parts install was pretty straight forward, with the installation of the emergency brake reservoir taking the most time to figure out.

Just what I hoped it was
Just acquired a motor home with air brakes. Used to have a (heavy) electric mountain master brake which was either all the way on or all the way off and beside the frustrating activation delay it was wearing out the hitch pin beating it with each brake application. The pnuematic 9160 is truly proportional.. so smooth you don't feel the slam as the brakes come on. Well engineered and even though it took me 2 days to do the installation I am very satisfied with the product and the price.

Proportional towed vehicle barking system
Works great, installation would be difficult for the average person without good mechanical abilities.
