Rides well.
For the money it's a fine thing!I've never used a carving type board before so I have no basis for comparison put after a few minuets I was pumping this beauty around and creating my own momentum front just pumping. I was able to perform tight turns front and backside. That said the deck is a little short for my taste and there isn't much of a concave to it.The trucks seam to perform well, I've ridden faster bearings and the wheals have plenty of grip. (Maybe a little to much if you're into sliding.)But all in all if you want a taste of the surfskate style but aren't ready to fork out the money on the major brands I'd say give this a go.I may well put the setup on one of my longer boards soon though. :-)

Great skateboard.
I bought this for an 8 years old. He;s also got a trick skateboard and I wasn't sure he would like this one. The opposite happened, he loves this one. He expent a good couple of months riding it and got very good at cruising around on it going everywhere.Quality is great, withstands all the abuse a child can inflict and so far has required zero maintenance. All black also looks great.I wish I had a picture to show the marks, scratches and damaged, but the thing keeps on going.

Awesome carving surf-like skateboard experience
Bought this for my son at Christmas and he absolutely loved it, it is solidly built and the bearings roll smoothly, the wheels are huge too (compared to his other skate, a Kruze, short cruiser) he has already put it through the paces and is very happy with it and its responsiveness. He is a keen skateboarder, and he wanted to try out the surf-like skateboard experience, absolutely recommend it, was considering getting him a Carver when I found this for a fraction of the price!

Buy one. Great value. Great fun
Love it. Both my boy and I use it regularly. I've had a few tumbles but that's my fault!

Decent entry-level carver.
For the benefit of those unfamiliar with skateboarding esoterica- perhaps your looking to buy this as a gift - a carver board is a specialist ride that emulates surf moves through a special front truck that gives a tighter turn and improved pumping, the art of keeping the board going without pushing. As such, they're very good as urban commuting boards. However do bear in mind you can't do the usual stuff on 'em - the weight and position of the front truck makes it hard to do tricks, and the shorter length and responsiveness makes it tricky for ramps and bowls. With that possibly unwanted information out of the way, this is a decent entry-level carver - there isn't much flex or concave in the board, and the wheels are a little too soft, but it's fine for getting about on if you don't want to shell out on a name brand setup A star off, though, for what these generic companies always, always get wrong, the awful artwork, in this case a sub-heavy metal logo atrocity that must have took all of five minutes and some clipart to conceive, design, and execute. If you do want to make your boards look a bit more expensive, generic skateboard manufacturing guys, just stick on a discreet logo, or better yet, just leave them plain.
