YOLO Ponytail Sports Headbands

I gave this to a friend as a gift because she is athletic and loves to wear head bands! She wore this for the first time on a run around the neighborhood. This was a great addition to her work out gear andShe said it kept her hair away from her face and did not freeze the sweat on her fore head. It was very comfortable for her to wear and kept everything in one place. It also was very easy to throw in the washing machine with the rest of her work out clothes and gear. She enjoyed that it didn't leave marks on her face or head. Most importantly, the pony tail sports headband kept the flyaway out of her face while exercisingThe only thing that she would change about the ponytail sports headband would be slightly tighter. Also, she noted that it did not allow her to put her ponytail where she would like it and normally wears her hair. Overall, I would recommend this head band to anyone who is looking for a good and nice quality head band. Also, it has a cute logo on it "YOLO" which means you only live once and it is very popular these days. Everyone was wondering where she got it and she said amazon!! I walk/jog in the mornings. Sometimes I just don't want my hair in my eyes, but normal headbands just don't work. Especially when your hair is 3' long. You need a high quality ponytail headband to hold your hair in place for no interruptions.It's It is thin, soft and lightweight. The headband is very stretchy and has a perfect secure fit that will make sure it will not slide down when running and training. I chose the color yellow. It's not a bright yellow. I would describe it as 'dirty yellow'.Took me a couple tries to get it, but it's pretty easy to get your ponytail through. It's like sticking your ponytail through the back of a baseball cap. Of course, it might have been better had I not put in on upside down the first time & when I took photos. Ooops. Oh well, it works either way fine.I like the stretchiness of this headband. I flipped it up to halve it because it's too wide for my tastes. The contoured shape measures 3.25" at the forehead and 4.25" over the ears. One size fits most. It fits me fine. In this product's defense, I have a small head. If you have a small head, keep looking - this thing will swallow you.The listing clearly states that the dimensions are " 3.25" at the forehead and 4.25" over the ears." I did not read this before ordering.This headband is so large on me that it barely needs to stretch to be on my head. This is typical for any larger headbands on me. I think that it would fit an average - large sized head just fine.This headband is a thin, stretchy material (listing says it is Poly / Rayon / Spandex binding). It is not slick or silky like other headbands I've had; I think that it would stay in place during activities. It is very lightweight and it seems like it would deal with moisture well. The seams all seem very strong and I don't see any loose threads or other flaws - seems like solid construction and good quality.The headband accommodates a low ponytail and gives good ear coverage, which I think would be great in cold weather. These two things, however, are not things that I'm interested in.The text (Yolo; you only live once) is reflective, as well as some reflective strips on the seams; this is great for running at night/other safety through visibility.Overall, this seems like a pretty solid product if you have an average-large head, like low ponytails, and enjoy having your ears covered. I am not a huge fan of this head band. I so badly wanted to love it, but it is just engineered wrong, and is not really good for any sized heads. I wish the listing had pictures of this head band on some ones head, but I think they probably do not have them because I doubt this head band fits any one that well. I came to read previous reviews to come shed some light on how to wear it, thinking I was wearing it wrong and found that lots of other reviewers said that it did not work for them because they either had a big head or a small head. I am not sure what classifies a head as normal size, but it does not look like this has fit any one that good. I consider myself to have a head on the larger size. This fit on my head, but in order for it to be comfortable as a head band should, and at an angle, my pony tail would have to be really low. Maybe if you have short hair then that would be comfortable but I have long hair so wearing such a low pony tail is not comfortable at all. If I put my pony tail where it is comfortable, then the front of the head band would be in my eyes. Maybe I suck at wearing it, but I am not a huge fan. It is a nice soft and stretchy fabric, and is really high quality, it just does not really work for me.I received this product at a discounted rate as part of a special promotion.
