I have been pleased with this outdoor wifi security camera so far. The device came well packaged and looks premium.Due to recent car thefts that has been occurring in my area, I felt it was time to invest in a outdoor security camera. I wanted one I could access via my mobile phone so a wifi one made sense to me. Installation was simple enough and screws and plugs were provided to mount the device. You even get a handy magnet base so you can attach the camera that way or screw it on.The camera quality was good during the day, however its quality does drop a lot during poor light situations and in the night. I like the fact you can live steam via the app at any time. This can be a useful security check if you are abroad and want to check on your cars or if you hear a disturbance in the night. I did have one issue where the camera crashed itself and I couldn't connect to it until i physically reset the camera. This isn't ideal if you are away on holiday. However, since then the issue hasn't occurred again.To record videos, you need an SD card which, disappointingly, wasn't provided with the product. Cloud storage also costs extra, which again is a bit disappointing as providing 24 hour cloud storage would have been useful as someone can easily open the camera and take the SD card out. A thief could even easily switch off the camera as it is conveniently located near the SD card by just lifting a rubber flap under the camera.There is also no alarm setting on this camera. This means you have to keep your phone on loud setting during the night and just pay attention to the normal movement indications. The motion detection also isn't the quickest to respond.Overall the lack of wired cable installation is what makes this product so attractive, alongside its looks. Its just a shame that the rest of the features aren't up to standard it should set for the price you pay.

This unit is great. It is a bit pricey compared to other wired ones (since we are spoiled by cheapo stuff saturating the market) but it has been performing much better than expected.However the motion detection could perhaps be sorted a bit better. Currently the motion sensitivity based on my interpretation are “low” = off, “medium” = why is it even a mode, “high” = on.If the developer are reading this, medium sensitivity should be dialed down 20-30% less than “high” and 35-45% less for “low” then the product will be perfect.The motion detection is not instant like wired and externally powered ones, you do lose a few secs before it start recording. Consider installing on a long corridor for best capturing instead of catching people walking past a door.Also please make an option to turn off or option to lower the greeting ice cream truck melody when switching the camera on. Or change it to LED indication? Its really loud.Another thing that buggers me is the weird time used on the ToSee message system. Its not 12hr or 24hr system. What on earth is it? Look at the photo attached. If it means hours after turning the device on then it would not be useful as nobody wants to spent time figuring out and doing maths.For new buyers, you need pretty decent wifi connection for outdoor use unless your router is fortunately nearby. This can be achieve by installing Access Points (AP) or bigger wifi coverage for outdoor use, the reason is cold and windy condition plus outdoor cavity wall can affect the wifi reception and you will start to curse and breaking the rules of swearing thinking its a piece of garbage. Routers from all broadband providers are unfortunately mass produced cheap cost cutting devices and at best for indoor coverage (struggle to penetrate 2 brick walls even with 2.4Ghz)

OK So I bought this security camera because I wanted a wire free camera for my back garden.This camera has a built in rechargeable battery so means you don't have to trail wires into your house. This is great because it means you can put it up and not have to drill ha hole in your house from outside in.It claims to have a 10-12 month battery life when you set it up to only record and alert you when Motion is detected.The app is very easy to use and you will have your camera set up in a few minutes.I placed a 64GB Micro SD Card in this camera so the motion clips can be recorded straight onto it.In the app you can view live, take snapshots and video clips which will be saved directly to your device.The camera itself seems to be very well made, its got a soft touch feel and the buttons and SD Card slot are hidden underneath a flap.You get a magnet mount and a screw mount. I personally went for the magnet mount because this will make it easy to remove the camera when it needs charging. You simply put a screw or nail up and slot the magnet base onto that and then the camera will stick to this magnet. It's very strong and has already withstood the good old British weather (horrendous wind and rain last night).The video quality is excellent, very clear and smooth.So I am very impressed with this camera and it has surpassed my expectations.

I researched this a lot before making a purchase. It seems the biggest issue was slow motion detection meaning the action wasn't captured particularly for cameras recording to the cloud. That, combined with the fact that I wanted an easy install with no wires, meant this was a good choice. It records to the in-camera SD card, which can be accessed whenever you want, so no action is ever lost due to poor connection. It performs well, nice clear images and relatively good motion detection, although sometimes it misses the first 2-4 seconds. So you want a placement which will give the camera a good line of sight to maximise the chances of good capture. Batteries still at 70% after a month. App is all straightforward and easy to use. After buying one camera and testing, i bought another for the back door. Very happy with the overall performance.
