It's a well made carburetor, it fit perfectly on my 8hp vertical briggs. Installation was easy, and tuning was the same as every other briggs carb I've used. Overall I highly recommend for the price.

Needed to get a mower running. The owner didn't want to spend a lot on the mower, several carburetors were over $200. This was priced write and works flawlessly.

Bought this to replace on my Briggs and Stratton 11hp riding mower motor. The breather mount bolt was slightly off, but after drilling a new hole, works like a charm.

Exactly as described. Easy bolt up and fired right up. Perfect replacement for my old carb off 1985 Briggs and Stratton 8 hp engine.

This is probably the worst carburetor I've ever purchased, and I buy a lot of carburetors.Poorly casted and inferior machining, the idle adjustment is virtually non existent and fuel flow is intermittent.I cannot recommend this to anyone.

I wish amazon would use an app to check parts fit; similar to what they do for automobile parts. Trying to repair a mower that is 20+ years old. This carburetor did not fit. However, the float + needle were all I needed to repair my engine. They worked perfectly. Probably spent more than necessary; but delivery was quick. And it solved my problem for much less than a mechanic would charge. Recommend you clean off engine cover and search for model number before ordering a part. Get part number from expensive site on internet. Then, order cheaper part from amazon.

Used it on an 8hp Briggs John Deere model 68. Also used it on 8hp Briggs snapper. Works fine cheaper than rebuilds

Bolted straight on my 11hp Briggs runs great but had to modify air cleaner component very good for price otherwise.

Bolted right up, air cleaner holes were properly positioned and proper thread size, started up and ran without adjustment, who could ask for more?

Mount bracket on left for air filter wrong place almost 1 inch. Air Opening smaller 1/4 of an inch filter casing had to be modified other that that I made it work and fit so would be nice to get partial credit for my purchase If i was to send it back it would end up in land field!!!
