Bausch & Lomb Ocuvite Adult 50+ Eye Vitamin & Mineral 2 Pack(150 Count)

For the past 3 years I've been seeing a retina specialist every 4 months for fluid build up in my right eye. She wanted to do surgery and I asked what would happen if I didn't have surgery. She said it could heal on its own so I waited. The last appointment she said if its not better in 6 months we are going to have to think about surgery cause its gone too long. So my sister mentioned her doctor told her to use these vitamins. So I gave it a try. And I used them every day for 6 months went for my check up and my eye has healed. I never have to go back. I do have some damage that will take time to repair, or I will have scaring. So I will continue to take this vitamin it really works.

My ophthalmologist recommended that I take this brand of eye vitamins after my cataract surgery. He found some age related drusen which could possibly lead to macular degeneration. These vitamins are small and easy to swallow and you only need to take one every morning.

I have certainly noticed a good improvement in my vision after taking Ocuvite for only a month, My vision is clearer and some of the "foggy" patches are staying away now. I am 63 years old and I feel these vitamins are helping me. The vitamin pill is small and has a very nice, smooth coating on it, Very easy to swallow.

Decided to try these eye vitamins to see if they would do anything different than another brand of over 50 eye vitamins I had been taking..and I haven't noticed a difference.. still have my floaters, and don't noticed a difference in my vision. so I really can't say they helped,I do have Glaucoma and when I first started taking them my eye pressues went up.. (2 weeks after starting these vitamins, I had an eye exam and the pressures had gone up) but by the time I finish the bottle, my eye pressures went back down, so I dont know it the vitamins has anything to do with it.I have bought a second bottle to continue trying them before I go back to a more expensive brand.

The new mini gels are very difficult to take. I love the results of this product but since they changed to mini gels they often get stuck in my throat. And only since the change, they have such a horrid fishy smell and taste that they make me gag. I have dry eyes and this product has really helped relieve the constant watering of my eyes due to the irritation, but with the new formula I am going to have to look elsewhere for relief.

I have sensitive eyes, and I was taking regular Ocuvite when my eye doctor told me to take the 50+formula. Since taking these and using the eye wipes my doctor recommended, I haven’t experienced the red eye issues I had been having for a few years prior.

It not only helps my eyes but keeps my cholesterol & triglycerides low.

I think this is the first time I’ve reviewed something on Amazon which I felt obligated to do because these are hard to swallow, literally. I take pills every day. I’ve taken pills here and there for colds and headaches and such. These hurt my throat. I gag after taking them. Also, my eye doctor told me not to bother with these so once I’m done with this bottle, I’m done with this product. But if you have a hard time swallowing pills, these may not be for you.
